There was nothing wrong with the boss fights in sd and you want talk about repeating things why don't you say the same thing about sm3 or even batman aa all games repeat parts of gameplay.
I acknowledge that every game is repetitive, been acknowledging that for a long time now
I also acknowledge how the pattern of the stages is there in 12 stages in SD, and each stage has that pattern that repeats 2-3 times (Fight boss, chase boss & stop chronies)
... scorpion sucked, as did his design... he looked horrible, he looked alot better in spider-man 1
1,000 noes
(which was a comic based costume)
Looked fine and fought fine in the PS1 game, but his coloring in the movie game added to my headache
in spider-man 3 he looked like he was in the militarty..
Spider-Man: ""Mech BioCon, We Build the Future." Now I remember, they build military cybernetics"
and his tail looked "make shift"... they made him a tragic villain, which is fine, but he was far better than meh....
He was awesome as a boss to fight, to grab his tail is better than the "I can't find him and can only shoot webs on him this high before I kick him once and fall or hold my web back"
I strongly disagree, maybe you just find things fun that the majority does not? because nothing you list seems interesting, nor that fun...
Easy route, challenging route, there was plenty of that
Aside from that, web yoyo is improved vastly in Spider-Man 3
and so is kingpin... but guess what.. bullseye has showed up several times in the spidey books, and juggernaut showed up in Shattered Dimensions... so really no reason why bullseye couldn't be in a spider-man game...
Kingpin started for Spider-Man, stayed for Spider-Man, fought DareDevil a lot, but remained a major Spider-Man villain
do they need it? no... but it'd be far more interesting, and tie far better into the comics, then the cheeseball fest and annoyance they were in the game.
No cheese, that's overreacting
... are you seriously comparing Villains to "gang members" i don't care if it focuses completely on the movie or not... Movie and Comic villains took up far less time and gameplay.. then lame ass gang members.. that were nothing but annoying.
You started it
I'm not complaining about "beating up" characters in a spidey game.. they get tiresome in all video games period. But at least make them interesting.. not make them all the same, but have different color outfits.... it was just far more tedius and boring in spider-man 3.
Are you talking about the PS2 version? Cause different outfits is the PS2 version
and imo, Shattered Dimensions is superior to spider-man 3 in that respect.. you've got specific goons for every villain, all in which act and look completely different and are easy to differentiate. They feel far less repetitive to me than Spider-man 3
Shattered Dimensions is terrible, terrible. Goons for every villain is annoying, no motive but being jokes, force me to fight a 100 of them while guarding someone who simply presses a switch or uses a drill to open path for the player, that sucks, that's tiring, there is way too much of that, I can't hang them or tie many at once, and it's no fun to taunt them and let them kick each other or use them as punching bags for cops or make cops kiss the floor spinning them around, and hitting other gangsters with the gangsters I spin around
Yeah, Spider-Man 3 is better for that alone, not to mention it doesn't have the story that needed to end in the first cinematic, no need to hit many of them each 15 hits into unconsciousness, not to mention Spider-Man 3 I can hit people while I poleswing. Differences are so drastic my brother who doesn't play games as much as I do think Spider-Man 3 is superior cause it has more stuff to do, find the story(ies) with some cheese but more fun and far less stupid than the $#%^ story and repetitive punching of SD with all the annoying flash during attacks
