Toys R Us is selling it for 45 bucks. I bought it there and printed my receipt. I'll keep it in the plastic until I read some reviews. If it's good, I'll open it. If it isn't, I'll return it for the full price back.

Im glad Beenox understands how vital alternate costumes are to the Spidey gaming experience. I hated how those were on such a decline after the PS1 games, but the last title and now this have a plethora to make any fan happy. Has the Ben Reilly suit been announced for this at all?

Oh alright. Thanks. Id just open it and play. Based on SD, Im sure this one will be great. Even if it isnt a keeper, you can most likely beat it within a few days and then resell it for ~$45-50 online so you wont be losing anything

Other than Ultimate (Arachnoman suit is faster), and Web of Shadows (alternate suits for Wii, alternate costume patches for PC), the rest were movie based, so it was kinda tough inserting costumes he never wore in the movies

Ben Reily, as in the suit everyone refers to when they say Ben Reily suit, ie not the scarlet spider suit.

The inclusion of that suit makes the game at least worth a play through.

Yeah man, SD was so unplayable I couldn't even PLAY it, I could only watch it on youtube!

Beenox is the closest ones to making a great Spidey game with some time and some repetition. If they just continue to expand upon the ground work laid by SD, like they are with EoT, within a few years, they may have a gem.

Err...no. As much as I have fond memories for that game, it really didn't have any good story qualities.

This game is making me think Beenox may be nailing the story.

The storytelling of the PS1 game wasnt great. What was appealing about it was that it felt more like a fan service than any other Spidey game. Tons of comic references and cameos and it didnt take itself too seriously. But if one were to judge the actual writing, it was pretty mediocore.

I think the accident that turned Octavius into Ock never happened in the altered timeline, since Peter mentioned he had to go work with Dr. Octavius in the genetics lab to MJ on the phone.

True. And as previously mentioned, that's why he comes off as wimpy and says that he's "only a scientist".

he still would have invented them... he probably just didn't have the accident where they fused to him.
