Just thought about something, what if Mysterio poses as Spider-Man while Peter is dead? Making a bad name for Spider-Man, it would also be a good way to introduce the Bugle and JJJ calling him a menace.

I was saying this for Chameleon before they officially announced Mysterio. It would make the trailer easy by still showing Spider-Man but having the villain pose as him. I would prefer Chameleon do it if he ever shows up. Mysterio can possibly do illusions to help people mourn a loved one being snapped.

Spider-Man isn't Spider-Man without J. Jonah. No matter how good these movies end up there's always going to be something missing lf he never shows up at all.

I think he'd be great as JJJ too, but considering what we've heard about Far from Home, it seems like an odd time to introduce him and the Bugle. And since he's apparently in a lead role, a cameo seems out of the question.

I have absolutely zero idea who this actor is playing. It says a 'lead role' so no idea if hero or villain, visually just can't place him as to who he could be.

Maybe he's the chaperon on the trip? I could see that. Like others have said, I could see him as JJJ but based on what we know Far from Home doesn't seem like it'll have room for him

No way I see him being a villain or a bad guy character in anyway. He's way too likable.

I'm taking Deadline's wording on that with a grain of salt until we get more info. Not saying its not possible, just highly doubt that's the case.

I've heard Deadline exaggerates about the size of roles sometimes. We probably won't have any confirmation until release

Yep, looks like Fury could be the MCU character in this one. I think Marvel wanted him in Homecoming instead of Stark so it makes sense

And since then nothing ... I was kinda hoping for him reappearing in Agents of SHIELD. But no ... He missed Civil War ... missed Homecoming ... basically missed Infinity War.
