Far From Home Spider-Man: Far From Home General Discussion and Speculation - Part 2

The video with Zendaya and Spidey reminds me of something that could have been in the PS4 game. Him swinging people to safety and Hi-fiving. Those people passing by looking like “WTHECK”.

So many set pictures... still no sign of Spider-Woman. Perhaps it's time for me to accept that that rumor was wrong. :sigh:

The completely black forearms kills it for me. Do not understand that choice, does not look right.

I'm sad that Marvel has not attempted to include J. Jonah Jameson in this series. He's such an iconic character that is incredibly important to the Spider-Man mythos. I wonder if there is a specific reason for his absence?

In Venom, the pilot's name was "Jameson," hinting that he was John Jameson, the son of J. Jonah Jameson. Does Sony want to keep Jonah Jameson for their own universe instead?
I'm sure we'll see him pop up in one of the 2 universes in the not-too-far future.

I think it works perfectly. The red is subtle enough to break up the all black. Anymore red and I think it’d have looked silly.
Part of why Spidey's design works so well is that there's the perfect amount of red and blue all over it, when you start giving him stripes down his leg and blue where it shouldn't be (ASM1) then is when it starts to look silly. The red and black would look great here if it didn't look like it just stops at the arms and becomes another suit. Random white spider doesn't help.

I think the reason stuff like the white spider in the PS4 game works for me is because there's a careful consideration to the amount of white throughout the suit and how that interacts with the red and blue as a result. Here it just isn't as slick to me, I'm 0 for 2 on the new suits in this movie so far.

zendaya looks really good. why didnt they just dye her hair and call her 'mary jane'?
cant help but think its a missed opportunity.
I have no bloody idea.

No rhyme or reason the back logo is white instead of red. Other than that, the suit looks fine.

I agree about the webbing and I'm hoping it'll be more noticeable in the movie after post or just better lighting.

But I think full red gloves would've looked too weird with all black sleeves. I actually quite look how the whole forearm/gloves compliment each other with the read running underneath.

Another thing I really like is that with the arms being predominantly more black now, it takes the attention away from the entire "diaper" area the original suit had:funny:

I don't know if the webbing will be more noticeable. It wasn't in Homecoming even in the finished product. It still failed to stand out properly. This looks no different. They just need to make it darker and more prominent. It doesn't really look black here but some kind of off red.

Need more suits. Sell more toys and pre-order DLC skins. Money, money, money.

Seriously, that suit looks okay, but the amount they've gone through is really annoying. When and if he ever does dawn the Symbiote costume it won't seem special at all.

Tom Holland Looks much bullier here, Right?
Specially the legs.

From set pics of Holland he’s definitely bigger than he was in Homecoming.

I wonder who gives him this costume. It looks like an upgraded Stark suit, so Peter probably made his own modifications

I have a question: Is this movie set after he is vaporized by Thanos or before?

Will Peter be having nightmares about "dying" similar to how Tony struggled with the idea of losing his friends or breaking the team up which, of course, both has happened?

Only reason I ask is in "Infinity War" he has on the blue and red suit before changing to the Iron Spider suit. So, I assume this is after "Infinity War."
