should Peter be more of a tech geek (up to date on all tech an into internet trends, social media stuff) or like an old fashion type of nerd (an out of touch on social media)
I want him to be one of those likable nerds. Not a smart-aleck that corrects every slight error you make.
I think Maguire pulled that off very well. The only problem was that he acted the same way as Spiderman.
Well it's your opinion. Can't really say much about it, because it's yours.Andrew did the emotional stuff a lot better than Tobey IMO.
Yeah, I thought it was the popular opinion. Is it not?

Tobeys portrayal was know for being a great emotional and serious character.
Props to whoever went through the Raimi Spidey movies just to capture Maguire's different facial expressions.
With Garfield being a better actor, he definitely handled the emotional side a lot better. Peter's reaction to [BLACKOUT]Gwen's death[/BLACKOUT] in TASM2 was heart-wrenching. Maguire's only advantage over Garfield was that he had good writing on his side.
I'm sure Tom will get the best of both worlds and deliver a great, geeky Peter Parker and obviously nail the quippy side to Spider-Man. He's had the chance to learn from Maguire's and Garfield's strengths and weaknesses.
