Homecoming Spider-Man MCU personality

Come on usm the toon is likely not going to be taken for the film. As mcu is different them usm toon world. The only thing that he same is a teen spidey next to adult heroes that is it pretty much. As I pointed out kevin never talks of toon for inspiration and same goes with writers. They always talk about classic comics. So like how rest of mcu is classic with ultimate comics and it's own twists spidey be the same. No way mcu spidey be anything like usm toon spidey.

Yeah, i don't see the film being based on the USM cartoon. I think that's more of a fan preference then a possibility.

If anything, I think the fact that the writers and Feige emphasized "John Hughes teen comedy and drama" and early comics , is more of an indication of the direction and tone they wanna go for as opposed to a specific cartoon.

Totally and like i said look at how each character has been so far in the mcu, as i said its a mix of classic elements, ultimate line elements, and their own new and different twists. To make a new and rounded out characters. So spidey will be no different then how rest of the mcu has been handled.

Now that we have an actual teenager playing Peter Parker, how should Tom Holland play Spider-Man? Personally, I predict that we would have a portrayal somewhere between the Spectacular and the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoons.

What I really meant was that I predict that Tom Holland's portrayal of Spider-Man would be somewhere between the awkward and geeky Peter Parker in SSM and the goofy humor of the USM cartoon (but not random humor and the goofiness would be toned down).

That's my Peter. Well make loveable, likeable.

I want his PP to be like the Animated Series PP and his Spidey to be like the Spectacular series Spider-Man.

A mix of Marty McFly and Ferris Bueller.

Something actually good.

Awkward but lovable. He'd be shy and not the easiest to strike up a conversation with, but he's adored by everyone who knows him well enough.

Eith how Kevin and the writer talk about peter. I am sure they will be hitting all the right notes and right traits for mcu version.

I just hope we get a Peter that has another personality when he puts on his mask. I wanna see Spider-Man making fun of the villains as well.

Well kevin has made it a point in interviews that they want a jokester humorous spidey as past films hasn't gotten it right yet. I am not worried there. If we get a nice mix of stark and starlord I be happy.

hopefully we finally get one who isn't shy and awkward as Peter. In the comics he was asking the hot chicks out and standing up to Flash from the start. He's always been bold. Being super smart doesn't mean he needs to be socially awkward.

Same, kinda like in SSM. That show did so much right.

Well how Kevin and writers talked I have no worries on characterization.

I'm optimistic about the movie too. I think I read where Spider-Man 2 was recognised by the new Marvel crew as a great movie, and still the top dog in the franchise to aspire to. So if they have that mindset and ambition, I'm interested.

Ya he said tha5. Then everything from the writers and kevin about spidey. Kevin specifically I feel he gets and understands the character. And like us wants to do the character right.

This article explains who Peter Parker is perfectly. Peter Parker is an a**hole. He let his uncle die because he's an a**hole, and he's a superhero to try and make up for what an a**hole he truly is. It's in his nature to be egotistical, entitled, self pitying and selfish. He's definitely an outsider. He has a persecution complex and always complains about his luck. He is angry that his brilliance is never appreciated, but he also frequently suffers from guilt.

Sounds like an ordinary teenager to me...minus the powers.

I've always said there needs to be a happy medium between Tobey's Peter and Andrew's Peter. I prefer Holland to be closer to Andrew though, or preferably like the Peter in the comics and the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon.

Like Toby's Peter and Andrew's Spidey, though a little more intelligent sounding /looking than Toby's Peter and less *****baggy/bully than Andrew's Peter
