I didn't like the playstation graphics or the dawson's creek bull ****, but the action scenes were pretty good. And Duncan as a hamburger eating King pin was inspired. Still, I pick the secon choice. Making Ed Asner ANYTHING BUT the man he played for YEARS on the older spidey show was just really ****ed up and weird.

I liked it, but only because it was something to watch and was Marvel.

The problem is that the show was/is severly hampered by Sam Raimi's licensing of all Spidey's good villians. They couldn't do Green Goblin as he was dead.
That is the one thing I don't understand, Sam Raimi wasn't even involved with the cartoon so why would he care, the cartoon and movies were two seperate continuities right?

I like just because of the style. Storywise, yeah it's decent. It just a rehashing of the original 90's animated show...really...

I kind of thought it was so-so, would watch it when it was on but never made sure to catch it. I always wondered what happened to it.

Licensing can be a funny thing. With DC Time Warner doles out seperate rights for TV and film. Marvel doesn't/didn't, but I don't know that for a fact. But a good indicator is that the show is set in the movie continuity. And for right now Sam Raimi holds all the cards there. Which means as long as they're making movies, or until Marvel seperates TV and movie rights, a Spider-man cartoon show is going have a villian embargo.

I'll have to buy the DVD. I didn't even know it was on DVD.

I bought the complete DVD without ever watching it on MTV. It took some time to get use to it. But I like now.

I'm so jealous that Eve got to voice a charcter. Shaking things up a little with a little jungle fever.

Didn't care for the show and I seriously hated Harry.

yeah...never really understood why they made Harry blonde...maybe for a variation in hair color amoung the main cast? but that's pretty stupid.

It wasn't too shabby. I thought the Lizard was pretty cool, and the action stuff was solid.

There was one magnificent shot where Spidey gets sent flying back in the streets, and as he is going backwards he shoots a web at a lamp post, stops the backwards momentum, and starts circling back the other way, kicking across a wall and then kicking the bad guy. Awesome shot!

Stan Lee said he really like the use web balls and Spidey shooting his web around the corner.

I would LOOVE to see a second season, but the first (and maybe only) season ended about 2 1/2 years ago. I don't think it will happen.

I really liked it, bought the DVD even. It was set in the movie continuity so the characters wouldn't be exactly like the comic characters. I didn't think the voice acting was too bad, but I loved the animation. Especially how they portrayed Spidey. His movements and webslinging were perfect. He was even pretty funny with all his quips and stuff when fighting.

It's been a good couple years now...so unfortunately I don't think we'll ever see another season.

i think it should have been like clone wars. where it was a story that took place between the first movie and the second movie. the show should have ended at the start of the second movie.
things they could have explaned more-

Peter liveing on his own
MJ hooking up with Jameson
Harry working with Doc Ock
Harry turning to the bottle and his thing for Spider-Man

and to shake things up bring in some C and D level Badguys, you know guys that you know they won't put in the movies but they could be good for a cartoon like-
The Spot
Beetle
Chameleon
Electro
Scorpian
Shocker
Smythe
Vulture

I liked it and got it on DvD.A second season would be awsome.

I believe that the bad writing was Bendis fault(he probaly didnt care that it went to MTV)
For those who have the DVD, have you seen the original pitch by Mainframe and spider-sense test? cause they are awesome!

I tried to get into it but it was unappealing to me.
