This was my first Spidey game.

Can still remember it took me ages to figure out how to beat Venom & t guy in a forklift was a low key boss

I remember when playing the Sega CD version of Spider-man vs The Kingpin, I had absolutely no clue on how the beat Venom at first since whenever I hit him, his energy would just refill. Then I found out that you had to find an exit which lead to a bell tower and then ring the bell there.

This was before I got more into Spider-man and found out that symbiotes didn't like loud noises.

The first Spidey console game I played was this:

My friend had it and we would spend hours trying to get through it. It was nervewracking.

Yeah...the only one that's a console game is Spider-Man.

The last couple of pages covering all the past games have been a great nostalgia trip. My first Spidey game was for the PSone.

What a great entry into the Spidey gaming world. Still my fav Spidey game.

I got late into the PS1 and this was the hardest game for me to find since I started playing video-games. I think I got the last copy in my city after so much frustrating searching.

I still hold the cd case really close and dear to me.

Exactly 2 months guys!!! Can't believe it's been over 2 years since this was announced. And now we have 8 weeks left. Crazy crazy crazy.

Also, this is pretty relevant: We lost Steve Ditko last night--the co-creator (in many ways THE creator) of Spider-Man. Stan Lee had the idea but Ditko built him. Costume, character, everything. Lee took the spotlight and much of the credit, but never forget that we wouldn't have Spidey without Ditko. So I think he deserves a mention.

RIP Steve.

I think it's a major credit to his work that Spider-Man is the ONLY character I can think of in comics who still uses his first appearance look. That costume has barely changed. In many ways, it hasn't. Batman and Superman are close but neither still sports their initial look. Spider-Man is still tried and true red n blue. No different than 1962. And that says a lot for Steve's imagination. That he created possibly the PERFECT superhero suit.

Also, since this was the topic at hand: My first Spidey game was also the Playstation one from 2000. That game actually MADE me a Spidey fan. Before that I was addicted to Batman because of the animated series, but then I played Spider-Man (2000) and the rest was history.

Yeah...the only one that's a console game is Spider-Man.

sorry I wasn't able to answer til now. And minor correction to what venom 1988 said. the marvel power united VR game isn't mobil. it is for the vurtual reality games which mean's it'll be on the playstation 4 and when ever both mirco soft & ninteno finilly make up their minds on their version of VR coming, it'll like be there too.





Be side's all that it'll be onm the occulus rift and HTC VR head set's and thos two work ehther by themselves or on cosole's & pc.

I think mine was Spider-Man vs The Kingpin on Genesis. But I got this game on N64 and played the hell out of it, I have a lot of love and nostalgia for it. I never did get past Octo-Carnage though.

Utlimate Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 however are my favorite Spidey games.

There are apparently tons of suits to choose from in the game. Some of the announced suits so far:

Classic
Noir
Spider-Punk
Iron Spider (Infinity War)
Homecoming (Homemade)

It's exclusively for people who signed up for some Gamestop program or something? They send you a download link that's MUCH larger apparently. This is just the promo version.

It is a really great shot, though. If that's the in-game photo mode? Oooh boy...
