Playstation Spider-Man (PS4) - Part 3

Awesome trailer! Dig the more hints we got to the direction of the story. I guess with the hints to Symkaria in the previous story trailer and Bryan Intihar wearing the Symkaria shirts it should have been obvious Silver Sable would be in this. Always liked that character, it's cool she's in this. Her, Mr. Negative, Taskmaster, and Tombstone (probably) are all good lesser known picks to have for people to get to know better.

Just because Miles is around doesn't mean Peter HAS to die for him to be Spider-Man as well.

Classic suit looks great, and the velocity suit is fun.
 
Definitely love the classic suit. Just perfect to me.

Honestly Peter dying is the last thing I think we have to worry about for a while.

If Miles ever enters these games as a Spider-person (assuming we make it past game 1), I see both of them in the game. Maybe that will have Insomniac introduce a co-op mode? Maybe Miles will be akin to Catwoman in Arkham City (i.e. one or two story missions and the option for free roam after you beat the game)

The fear of Miles REPLACING Peter I think is misplaced.

Yeah, definitely. Plus they both have some different powers already so it's feasible to integrate that to freshen things up. Just gotta make sure his venom blast isn't OP like in all the Bendis comics haha.
 
Wasn't gonna watch the trailer but gave in immediately lmao. Looks great. At this point I think I'm the most curious to see where exactly the story goes more than anything else. It looks like a genuinely good modern take on Spider-Man.
 
Never seen so much merchandise for a single game. Had no idea they were literally going all out.

I had no will, I just clicked haha. But I totally agree with your assessment on the story and general interpretation, that's one of the big draws for me so far. It's hooked me with its take on Spidey and his world and I really want to see more of the dots connecting it all.

Yeah, they must have a lot of faith in this.

It's kinda cool for me on a silly note that this Peter was also born the same year as I was. I think that was the case when the first Amazing movie came out he was supposed to be 17 in that movie and I was 17 at the time.

I was debating at what point I'll stop watching stuff for this game but at this point not only has my will proven to be paper thin, but Insomniac is being VERY good with spoilers. So I don't think we have reason to worry.

And I agree, the story is intriguing to me. I want to see what Insomniac's take on Spider-Man really is. They seem to have not only a good amount of freedom with the material but they have seem to have included A LOT. There's a decent amount of characters in this and I'm willing to bet there are quite a few more.
 
Awesome trailer. Very interested in where the story is going.

The new suit is cool looking also, but it’s gonna take a lot for me to try something not the classic. It just looks so damn perfect!

I was telling my girlfriend, that I can’t remember so much merchandise being put into one game even a soundtrack wow.

Only thing I can think of is he did the Daredevil TV theme, I did like the main theme for this game that was playing in demo gameplay I saw.

I'm not worried about spoilers either...Insomniac seems to be keeping enough material close to the chest that there should be surprises for us. While they've definitely given us plenty of info up till now it hasn't been too much imo. There's enough info present for most people to make a decision about whether or not to purchase the game. And at this point, for me anyways, I honestly don't think there's anything they could show that would elevate my excitement any more than it already is. Imo I believe it's safe to say this will probably be Spider-man's Arkham equivalent.

That is a pretty cool theme, but I don't have much love for it.
 
Im tempted at getting that PS4 Pro but with it being $400 and I suspect a PS5 announced within the next 2 years, it wouldnt be a wise use of my money
 
I don't like that Velocity suit. Good that they didn't include anything that great as pre-order bonus. That Iron Spider suit is the only one that interests me but it doesn't get me to pre-order. That is the only one of them I could see myself using. I'm glad that they left the best suits for the actual game.
