Playstation Spider-Man (PS4) - Part 3

Well done Insomniac, you've created a game that is as addictive as crack cocaine.

Had a right old run at it this morning and achieved a lot....

1) Got all backpacks and radio towers
2) Black Cat 'cat face' search and reward gained - but that has opened up a sub-mission, still to do that yet.
3) Story development - just met Miles and played as him for first time and
now off to find him a job
4) Completed all Kingpin bases which then opens up the story massively.
5) Getting better at crime solving and combat usage, much better at stringing together and making use of the gadgets etc, very satisfying. Actually beat a car chase scenario for first time, I am so lame at these.

Will play more tonight. Can't wait.

Being old and not knowing how to 'upload' or 'download' (whichever one describes the action to do so) my photo's I've taken to my PS4 - can anyone help me with this, do they automatically save or is there a in-game 'drive' to which you have to go to in order to send them to your PS4 or does that happen automatically. Got some awesome ones of the Avengers Tower.

Hit that button to the left of the map button on the controller on your screenshot, hit upload or share and conbeco to your Facebook or twitter and it should go there in a folder. You may have to go to the photo on Facebook after and change the privacy to public.

There is a way to put them on a USB drive from the PS4 but I have not yet.

Thank you SO much WH731, owe you one.

Also, just want to make the point, for me, I don't get where the complaints about Peter / MJ sections are coming from, in terms of them being 'useless' or any lack of 'character'. For my experience to date, their sequences have been full of emotion, pro-active story beats that move everything forward and blimey, in some places, tears can be felt. It's just an amazing experience all told thus far. Absolutely adore this game.

Reminded me a lot of Uncharted.

They are good to me. I really liked the MJ one at Grand Central. That one was well done.

Miles was okay, I'll admit that last one I rolled my eyes but thankfully the last half of it was pretty good.

I love the new suit and think it looks good in the game bc it has a cartoony look to it. Alot of the other ones are a bit too realistic for me but I like how stylized the white spider suit is.

I am disappointed with how Peter got it though. I read that it would be story dictated and it would make sense once we played the game but it was kind of lame. I expected more and the scenario to how he got it and abandoned his old one was kind of lackluster

Yesterday I was doing a Kingpin base and my dad (who I get my love for Spider-Man from), was watching me play. He was having such a blast watching me play and beat the piss out of the thugs. He was amazed by the graphics and combat.

The story is really heating up.
Doc Ock was just revealed as the leader of the Six. Then he goes to Times Square and releases the Devil's Breath poison on the city. We then see Aunt May coughing up blood!!! This story just got very dark and dramatic. Loving it.

I found the Ghostbusters firehouse.

I’ve been doing all the side missions (backpacks, Fisk crime bases) and find it forever to level up. Is the only way to get a new costume and upgrades is to just play the main mission?

Where is the Ghostbusters house?

From what I can tell, post story after you do all crimes, they reset back to just thug crimes. Which is fine, but it'd be nice to have a bit of variety of the foes.

After the story completion, can you still replay the Kingpin bases and replay the combat challenges?

I think I am at 95% completion. Once I am done, I think I'll start a new game on Spectacular. But that will be my relax and take it slow playthrough. I will be taking soooo many screenshots of the boss fights. XD

It'll be great once they add the new game plus feature.

Kingpin bases can be redone, I did it yesterday to get an additional token. But that was before story completion however. Damn I hope they do stay redoable.

That's a different take on that object.

Game time update - Just met Silver Sabre and her Squad for the first time and gone to a factory base. Think I'm about 42-43% completion at the moment. Trying to get to grips with the achievement points required for the skins/suits unlocks as the payment required system baffles me in terms of what you need verses what you have to spend. I swear I've accumulated enough in some cases via one combination of points in one area or do you need ALL rather than any combination of type situation, if you do, then that would explain it. I hope I've explained that okay ?

Really enjoying this and I don't want the story mode to end. I am about 70% completion for the game. I've actually been taking the time to collect various tokens and side missions, where as I usually get bored with those things and like to just power through the story missions.

I have experienced some really weird glitches, though, and nearly all of those sample puzzles are just horrible and pointless.

You know what makes me happiest about this game when I read this thread and re-check the trophy list? The lack of races. I grew weary of them after so many open world games -including LEGO entries- where I fight the controls to enter rings in the right time at the necessary speed.

I think 'races' in this would be so tough, as there is enough 'on screen' as it is without then being super-timed against the clock when swinging and trying to keep eye narrative and button press correctly, from my end of things, I have hard enough time as it is keeping up with cars and vans etc.

Be careful boys & girls,
the game's post credit sequences have been released on-line so if you haven't completed it yet (I'm far from doing so) then careful
when doing searches on YT.

Completed all the Blackcat stakeout locations. The black suit is slick AF, but I can't drop using the Scarlet Spider suit, it's so perfect, the details are beyond beautiful.

It seems that unlike previous Spidey games, landing on a car is a very challenging thing to do.

And I already spoiled the ending for myself. I'm the kind that just can't wait to see the thing that requires patience first.
