I finally beat this on Monday. Just need to do some side missions and stuff to get 100%.

I wouldn't mind if it gets destroyed, but then he rebuilds it with some tweaks. Maybe make the Spider black again, so the suit looks a bit like Ben Reilly's costume. Or like the Homecoming concept art.

With Venom having the big white Spider on his chest, I'd like Spidey go back to the classic black Spider.

That's perfect. I wish the advanced suit looked like this. White spider was a bad idea.

Started playing the DLC last night...that museum mission was annoying. I had one guy get to the door, he was webbed up, but I couldn't do anything because he was past the threshold. UGH! Replayed it again, put on the web-blossom power, and wrapped it up (no pun intended). Black Cat's costume design is pretty cool, too. Nothing GREAT, but it looks practical.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of when they take Felicia and sex her up to the point where it's like, how does she actually move wearing that? Don't get me wrong, I love boobies but Felicia's a thief, not a stripper.

On that museum mission, I found it helpful to set up trip mines near the stairs or just hit the tagged enemy with that or impact webbing for a quick takedown.

I absolutely love the game. I usually play nonstop when I'm home from work and don't have my son. The music is fantastic as well. It almost has a mix of Marc Webb's Spider-Man in there. The story was great and it was very powerful. Everything you expect from Spider-Man.

I thought the look of an animated style suit against the 'real' graphics would have too much contrast. They look so good. I find myself switching between the cel-shaded, manga and spider-verse during my play sessions. The spider-verse is still my fav though.

Yes, those whip a-holes are my most hated enemy type. I hate how they are able to move faster than Spider-Man when you do a standard attack against them. And it's damn near impossible to dodge their 'pull/slam down' attack when you're up in the air. For one, they should not be able to move faster than you at all. Period. And I wish there was a way to disarm the whips like you can with most other weapons.

I also hate how those rocket launching morons will fire at you from like 5 feet away right in the middle of a crowd. So when you dodge, if you can at that distance, it blows up all their comrades. So stupid.

The frustrating thing is when I’m doing the hammerhead bases and am so close to the 100 hit combo and the whip guys screw me up.

I'm jealous of anyone playing the game and experiencing the story for the first time with the Raimi suit.

I started playing the campaign again wearing it when it first dropped but only got half way through and haven't finished. On my fourth run of the campaign in less than four months I'm feeling burnt out on it. But I'll get around to it, the train and Sinister Six six sequences will look great with it.

Personally, I'd say no. While I had an amazing time with the base game, I spent like 70-80% feeling mostly annoyed playing the DLC. Miles is suddenly super annoying, Screwball makes a return in all 3 Episodes, the whole Hammerhead plot is just complete nonsense, and enemies are just frustrating to fight. Blackcat is amazing, but she's only the focus in the first Episode.

I'm enjoying it, myself, but I just got the game for Christmas, so I just jumped straight from the main story to the DLC. It's not bad, but they are making the villains hard for hard's sake.
Also, for every bit of this game that I love, I wish they would omit Screwball and her crap from the game. She was a crap character in the comics, and she's a crap character in the game. It's like if they had included Menace in there (also a crap character).

Still, MINOR complaints.

The DLC story is fine. The fights after a while get repetitive as others have said, it's just an onslaught of the same guys to the point that it's almost impossible to not get hit at at some point.

I find the best tactic on the brutes with mini guns is to electrocute them. It takes them out pretty quickly.

Check out my post from a page ago or maybe two. Basically, unless there's a dlc suit you're dying to have, imo, the dlc is not worth the price. The story ties into the main game and probably the sequel so to make sure you're all caught up, watch the cutscenes on Youtube.

While I'm no fan of those guys either I found them much easier to deal with vs the whip jerks. At least the shield guys you can do base attacks on without them dodging you like they're the Flash.

Just saw the game has now sold 9 million and considering it has only been out for a few months it will do 10 million easily wonder how much it will be at by same this time next year.
