Shame that Marvel chose to decline to share Spider-Man. They could've pleased their fans but chose not to.
Latino-Review says that the studio bosses over in Japan aren't happy with the producers in America and CEO Kaz Hirai may wind up putting his foot down and stopping Pascal and Arad from doing whatever they want with Spider-Man.
Also, the execs in Japan are far more likely to work out a deal with Marvel like Universal has with Hulk where Spider-Man can do cross-overs with other properties while Marvel produces the films and retains creative control in exchange for Sony distributing the solo films and gaining the profit from the box office and DVD sales.
What this means is that Spider-Man may show up in both Defenders and Infinity War while Sony gets the chance to play around with Daredevil and Luke Cage as his amazing friends.
Let's hope that the suits in japan get their way instead of their American counterparts.
Plus if it's a new trilogy of films, I'd love for part one to skip the origin story entirely, have Spider-Man in college, Gwen died at the hands of Norman Osborn and Spider-Man's own boss at the Daily Bugle depicts super heroes has dangerous vigilantes and sets out to create his own corporate-sponsored hero who'd be kept on a shorter leash. Except Scorpion rebels when he learns that the venom he's secreting is slowly poisoning him and the doctors don't have a cure yet and it's up to Spider-Man to stop him. The title would be Sensational Spider-Man.
Part 2 would be titled Sensational Spider-Man: The Death of Jean DeWolff, take place after Infinity War where Spider-Man gets the black costume. Here he teams up with Luke Cage and Daredevil to expose a serial killer known as Sin Eater. Ed Brock would be Spider-Man's co-worker who wants to break the story to the Daily Bugle but actually outs the wrong person while Peter solves the crime. Luke Cage saves Spider-man from himself at a bell tower where Spider-Man loses the symbiote which bonds to broke before teaming up with Daredevil to stop the Sin-Eater once and for all.
Part 3 would titled, Sensational Spider-Man: Vengeance of Venom and be about Spider-Man vs Venom where Spidey marries MJ.
Assuming that marvel decides to renew the deal and doesn't shelve the property just because they have to share the costs with somebody else (*cough* Hulk *cough*), I'd like to see another six films be planned.
Part 4 would be Sensational Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage where Spider-Man and Venom have to team up to stop a horrific serial killer bonded with a symbiote.
Part 5 would be titled Sensational Spider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt where a hunter manages to defeat Spider-Man and bury him alive, leaving him for dead.
Part 6's title should be Sensational Spider-Man: Shadow of Evils Past. A new supervillain has gotten ahold of Norman Osborn's technology and may to to MJ what Osborn did to Gwen.
Part 7 needs to be Sensational Spider-Man: Invasion of the Spider Slayers which has Alistair Smythe hired by SHIELD to hunt down Spider-Man after he's framed for a crime which leads to Spider-Man dealing with several spider slayer robots before coming face to face with Smythe himself who's built a suit of armor that he's dubbed, "The Ultimate Spider Slayer."
I have no ideas for part 8 since I really, really don't care about what comes after 1993 in Spider-Man continuity with the Clone Saga going on forever and making continuity nearly impossible to follow and then One More Day awaiting me as my punishment for getting through it.
