There is no way Marvel gets a new Spider-Man movie out in 2016. No way.

I don't think anyone's expecting a solo Spidey film in 2016.

People saying Spidey won't be in Civil War just because they're going to start filming in a few months, must've forgotten this little thing Marvel does sometimes.

Hint: post-credit scenes.

People are definitely theorizing a 2016 Spidey movie. Not sure why, but it is definitely happening.

Some people are suggesting Marvel is already heavily working on or have already finished the script so it could be released in their free spot in 2016. I don't buy it.

What the hell?

Well, it's not gonna happen. Unless Marvel are wizards or something.

I'm hoping we get Sensational Spider-Man 1 in either August 2016 or February 2017. Preferably the latter since it gives Marvel more time to work. Second should happen in late 2019.

And yes, we should get two per phase since these are films that Marvel is making on Sony's dime and while Sony gets most of the profit, Marvel can afford to make more of them and retains creative control as well as crossovers. For instance, putting Mach, Shocker and Scorpion in Thunderbolts, putting Daredevil and Luke Cage in Spider-Man, having Spider-Man appear in both Avengers and Defenders, etc.

Are they going to call it Sensational Spider-Man? How about Spectacular Spider-Man?

Or if Marvel want to really brand it as their own, it can be "The Marvellous Spider-Man." :o

I'd love for them to call it The Spectacular Spider-Man.

That'd work pretty well, too.

Marvel's: The Avengers works fine. Marvel's: Spider-Man looks cool.

But then would it be Marvel's Spiderman 2

Or maybe Marvel's Spiderman, Marvel's Spectacular Spiderman, Marvel's Sensational Spiderman

I feel like they would just make it Spiderman with a subtitle.

Ex: Spider-Man: Last Hunt or Spider-Man: Sub-City or something

Which is pretty much the Avengers model. The official title of the first movie is Marvel's Avengers I think, but not Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Kraven's Last Hunt is the greatest Spider-Man story of all time, bar none. Marvel could do it so much justice.

Agreed! One of the best stories in Marvel canon. That being said, I don't think a new spidey series should start on such a grim note. That'd be a good threequel

I know I suggested it but i'm starting to like the Spectacular Spiderman Sensational Spiderman way of titling it, it would be different instead of just sub titles like every other sequel

Specatacular was used for an animated series. Sensational has never been used before. The title just plain makes sense.

I like that it revealed just how dangerous Kraven is, and also how multifaceted he is. He doesn't hate Spider-Man, in fact he respects him. If you've read Soul of the Hunter, Kraven's ghost comes to Spidey for help in finally putting him to rest. Spidey has to go to Kraven's grave and fight his reanimated corpse, which was ridiculous. But, in the end, Spidey and Kraven's spirit embrace, finally forgiving each other. I found that to be touching.

How about:

Spider-Man Strikes Back

Spider-Man: the Dragon's Challenge

:o :oldrazz:

'Sensational' belongs to She Hulk :argh:

alternates:

1) Superior Spider-Man
2) Smug Spider-Man
3) Slovenly Spider-Man
4) Slippery Spider-Man

So let me get this straight. Marvel doesn't want Garfield, because they want a HS kid (Garfield no longer looks like a HS kid). Then they want cameo in CW, TWO solo movies before Infinity War? Or just one?

I don't think they specified how many solo movies they wanted.
