spiderman vs. thor

I'm not asking who would win it's not a big deal. I just heard a rumor once that there was an issue where thor and spiderman went at it.. I want to know if anyone knew which issue it is assuming it did happen.. thanks for any help

It was Marvel team up,... the funniest part was when Spidey easily dodged the thrown hammer,... then tried to web it and take it from Thor,.... it yanked him off a brick wall and dragged him through the air.

Thor's kicked the ass of more than one ex-herald of Galactus. Air-Walker and the Silver Surfer--both more powerful than Firelord--come to mind.

I think you're thinking of the Masterson Thor fight with the mistaken purposes thing. Spider-Man almost dropped that thor before he remembered he was thor and could do thor stuff. Believable considering it was masterson.

that was my point. Spidey against real thor would only last a while because thor would have difficulty connecting, but that's about it.

spidersense > superspeed in most instances since it's triggered at the inception of the threat not the actual act. But then writers play around with turning that on or off depending. I'd still say thor has a while of swinging and missing before dropping pete, unless he goes all massive lightning blast on him which he wouldn't.

Sounds like a no-brainer to me- The God of Thunder has slugged it out with everybody from the Hulk to Hercules, the Juggernaut to the Abomination. Mano a mano, there's no way the wallcrawler could take him on and survive-far less win!!!
