Yeah, but at least Johns made the yellow weakness (what they call an "impurity") a little more plausible as a plot point, what with the whole "color spectrum" and all.
As for the others? They're goofy. Chuck 'em.

I think the emotional spectrum is pretty stupid, myself. I think Parallax being an evil yellow cockroach living inside the power battery was a dumb way to wipe Hal's slate clean instead of making him work to reform, too. But I'm fairly cynical of the Green Lantern mythos at this point.
