Ok, continuing with the photo update
Here are the gloves which cannot be sewn by a machine, and I'm kinda too lazy to try to sew them myself so I decided to try and glue them and later maybe strenghten some areas by sewing.
Started to glue them piece by piece. The glue seems to be very strong
And here is one hand done, soon the other one followed
not too bad.. Considering there will also be shading and pattern over it, it's great
Next, the pattern on the mask! I've thought of the easiest but very long-lasting process of applying where the pattern will go... I've made a hexagonal pattern in photoshop, turned my screen to make it like an improvised table, spread the fabric over it and started to follow the pattern piece by piece.. took a few hours
A closer look on what I was doing.. actually just dotting the crossings between shapes, so later i connected them with a thin marker to see exactly where the puff paint will go.

That's just bonus motivation!

Couple that with EVERYONE in the house having a cold and it hasn't exactly been a productive weekend.
