I'm not overly familiar with Trek lore but wasn't there an agency within the Federation that dealt with top secret projects and genetically altered special agents?

Now that was an amazing trailer. The visuals and scope for this are beyond outstanding.

J.J Abrams is on a roll. I'm shivering just thinking of what he's going to do with Star Wars.

Here's a question: the enterprise will be entering the atmosphere and crash on Earth's surface; what do you think JJ has in store for the ship after the fact:
a) same ship
b) refit
c) Enterprise A
d) new ship

Yeah according to some folks in other forums there are several differences with that ship in the bay. I don't know though. It would be a very good piece of marketing misdirection given that other trailers have shots that clearly show the 1701 on the falling ship.

Wow! The new Star Trek trailer is so epic! I wasn't convinced before but now? Yeah, I really want to see that movie!

Yeah, the CGI looks like the actors can touch it, and the FUTURE San Fran looks like a believable almost-real place.
