X-MAS 2012

  • Kinect Star Wars for Xbox 360
  • LEGO Star Wars 7965: Millennium Falcon
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 on Blu-Ray
  • Star Wars: The Essential Guide to Warfare
  • Star Wars: X-Wing - Mercy Kill
I'd be careful with the Lego Falcon. I think that was released a few months ago, meaning, that in a few more months it will be unavailable except for on Ebay from greedy hoarders like me. :o

Something I've always wanted to know. On the second Death Star, when Vader realizes that he has a daughter, does he realize that it's Leia, specifically?

Probably the best Obi-Wan Statue I've ever seen.

Yes in the expanded universe she speaks to Anakin's ghost and has trouble forgiving him for all of the lives he took, but ultimately does.

Wow, that is awesome. Love the look of Obi-Wan there.

Don't worry about that. I'll buy that thang months before next holiday season.:yay:

Return of the Jedi, when Vader is looking for Luke, he senses that Luke has a sister, therefore, Vader knows he also has a daughter.

That Obi Wan Statue is really great. That's the particular time I'd like to see Obi-Wan in

How many of you guys were shocked to learn that years after the Star Wars Classic Trilogy, Mark Hamill found fame once again as the voice of the Joker?

I was shocked as hell. I watched the credits for B:TAS when I saw Mark's name. I was like, "Wait a minute. LUKE SKYWALKER?!"

Although it's not said directly I imagine he does given how strong he is with the force. It's always interested me that they hid Leia's identity so thoroughly that even in Vader's presence he didn't sense she was his daughter, yet with Luke the plan was always in place for him to become a Jedi.

:funny:. Dont crush my dreams though :csad:. Nice avi, didnt recognize you for a few seconds lol.

I usually research my SW stuff wookiepediadia :yay:

*Stops force choking Bim's dreams*. :D It's for a week, I will start the new year with a fresh SW avvy most likely., :awesome:

Me too, but some of the things I have read and some of the EU characters I'd love to see brought to life onscreen.

That Obi Wan statue is staring at my wallet! :awesome:

I collect Star Wars Disney Pins. Well really the ones I really like. There are some I skipped over.

Some of my favorite ones.

They are all nice but I really like this once!

I also got the 3 Star Wars Robot Chicken DVDs.

That paper is awesome. :D Bim has mentioned that book, I think you are in for a good read Jen.

Hunter answered it. I meant that there was no sort of "Holy crap! I know her!" moment.

Star Wars: Tales from the Expanded Universe

Anthology series a la Tales from the Crypt. Cartoon Network. Same animation style as Clone Wars. Special guest stars pop up (Emliy Blunt/Bastila Shan, Garrett Hedlund/Cade Skywalker). And yes, even Mark Hamill would show up (if I had it my way), reprising his role as Luke Skywalker.

Season 1: The Old Republic Era
Season 2: The Rise of the Empire Era
Season 3: The Rebellion Era
Season 4: The New Republic Era
Season 5: The New Jedi Order Era
Season 6: The Legacy Era

Hunter: looking forward to what you'll put in as an avi next, you always have cool ones!

Probably the best Obi-Wan Statue I've ever seen.

*screams and jumps around the room clapping* :awesome:

danoyse: love the wrap paper hahaha and yes, that book is a treat to read. You just wait until you get to the drama that went on before filming the carbon freeze chamber lol. The Making of Star Wars is fantastic also and worth the read. I highly recommend those books to all Star Wars fans; my one hope is that they do a Making of ROTJ next :woot:. Robot Chicken is also funny as heck, but nothing beats the first one imo.

Question: If Star Wars took place a long time ago...whats going on now...like in the Star Wars galaxy during our time period

He also did the voice for Ozai in Avatar : The Last Airbender cartoon, I was pretty shocked to find out it was him. Cool as hell.

I like to believe that Star Wars takes place in the future & that the story is being told even farther in the future.

I actually think that's what Lucas intended too. I remember reading something about how the story of Star Wars is told by R2 to some shaman in the future or something.

"A long time ago in a galaxy far far away" is the sci-fi equivalent of "Once Upon A Time"

WANT. :wow:

What is the context behind this figure? I must know. Obi-Wan in between years of ROTS and ANH scavenging?

Fantastic book. I got this last Christmas. A must read. And yes, the Carbon Freezing scene part of the book is very interesting. Just goes to show how Kershner really cared about it and really questioned it. The scene looks like something that was odne like the others, but it wasn't. Maybe Kershner was overthinking it, but who cares, the scene itself works incredibly well. It really shows how complex movie making can be and the thought process and pieces that go into filming a scene can be.

From this angle you can see his old clone wars armor on his back.

But the name of the piece is called Desert Nomad Obi-Wan Kenobi.

So it's safe to assume that it takes place before ROTS into ANH which interchangeable heads as Obi-Wan ages.
