I dig Magneto. Not really a huge X-Men fan but the little bit that I've read I've always enjoyed Magneto. I did like what Morrison did in his run with Magneto, which I know a lot of fans didn't really like too much. Magneto seems like one of those big time Marvel villains that just needs a good writer behind him. I haven't read an X-Men comic in like 6 years so I have no idea what's going on with him.

I like Magneto but the Magneto I like is the evil-as-all-hell, dropkicking The Toad for discipline, cackling Magneto and not the Malcolm X Magneto and definitely not the good guy Magneto.

I loved it in Secret Wars where Cap and The Thing weren't buying the "Good" Magneto line. Cap brought up the Sub he sank immediately.

:cap: :cap: :cap:

Magneto's awesome, just used badly sometimes. Rocked in the movies.

I also hate the Mags/Rogue relationship. Dude's like a billion years older than her.

I liked him particularly in the first few issues of the X-Men run with Jim Lee. Captured a good combination of awe of his power level along with him being evil, but with good intentions.

thats not turning good though Frankie! he just wanted to sow some more evil plans( get it 'sow" haha farmer get it) just cause you go off an get all " green aces" doesnt mean you tread the straight and narrow. he was just regrouping and watching' The waltons" and junk!:cwink:... or maybe "the dukes of hazzard" you can get some pretty evil plans from watching that *&^%! haha
He was good in his own series before it canceled before Annihilation.

haha oh well! i never read that! Damit! cant a bad guy just stay bad nowadays!?theres the rub. if they turn good there isnt a really good/ great villain to take their place... instead we get "red hoods" and crap!

On to the next one:

Vision
Vision-1.jpg

Think he could make it in a movie? Do you like classic or young Vision more?

Love em.

One of my all time favorite......robots. :o

The Viz freaking ROCKS!! love how my boy would turn intangible and &^%$ your world uppp!! plus he had one of the coolest designs with the red, green and yellow till he went all ethereal! Dug that whole thing of not feeling human and being able to fit in... i never understood why.. since he was shagging hot ass scarlet witch!like kuro mentioned the best was him dropping his ass on Nefaria's pumpkin head when nobody else could stop him! yeah baby! VIZ ROCKS!!... oh and like coke i like the classic!

One of the best Avengers ever. My all time favorite Vision story.....

F**king Bendis....

don't get me started with Vision. One of the best characters of all time in all of comics,

some of the best stories and art ever.

The way he looked on the covers of Avengers of all the 70s books was what got me into comics.

Bendis sucks.

Loved the Vision and Scarlett Witch mini series. It was the first time that Wonder Man and Vision seemed like brothers.

:ff: :ff: :ff:

Busiek did great work with Vision and Simon in his run. Avengers vol 3 #23 was a great dissection of their relationship.

I like Vision, his costume is one of the best in comics and his power set is great as was said before. As a kid I sort of had a grudge against him because the story at the time was that he was the original Human Torch altered, but Byrne later fixed that in one of his better revamps. Viz was never as cold as I wanted him to be, but that's a problem that is common with characters like Vision and Spock. What Bendis did to him is disgusting and is one of several reasons I no longer read Marvel.

The Vision is one of my favorite characters. I've always meant to read more with him, since I know he had a lot of good material in the '70s and I haven't dug into that era of Avengers history yet. But growing up, I read about him in Avengers West Coast, the Harras/Epting Avengers run, and then Busiek and Perez's Avengers and my enjoyment of him has only grown. I wasn't too keen on him and the original Human Torch being the same robot split in two or whatever. Always preferred the Pym -> Ultron -> Vision family line with no mention of the Human Torch as the basis for the Vision's design or anything. But that's relatively minor. He more than makes up for it by rocking the everloving hell out of that massive collar on his cape. :hehe:

And anyone who questions whether he has a soul, read that issue that runawayboulder posted the cover to. He's a person, damn it, not a bunch of wires and synthetic blood, anymore than a real person is just a bunch of meat and bones. :argh:

Lotsa Vision love. I'm a big fan of the original, but I can't realy bring myself to give a crap about young vision.
Also, I own a copy of the comic with his first appearance :D

New character!

Bishop

Missed out on two. Magneto is my all time favorite villain. He's been written poorly, but at his core he's easily the best villain to me. Vision is cool. I have always seen him as the one person who I most identify with the Avengers.

Bishop to me is like a better version of Cable. His story isn't as ridiculous and convoluted as Cable's. He just chased after a villain in his time and got stuck here. I like his powers, and his character in the past seemed to be pretty decent. I hoped that the Last X-Man series would be a great opportunity for him, but I wasn't really feeling it.

Bishop rocks... though i have no reason why? hahahaha he Rocks so much that my personal email address and thousands of my username has him in it. it's... ( hell naw! like i need you guys flooding my email account.. i know better baby!). One person who didnt know anything about comics told me does this have to do with the black XMan Haha). I will admit it was squarely on he was black and an X-man ( one of the few cats i have ever done that with) Hey! there had never been a a brother Xman before.I was stoked!! i still have no idea what his powers are or anything remotely to quailfy him rocking. other than the dreads and the big ass M on his face.. which was gnarly cool!!( hey! we are all entitled to dig 1 person for no good reason and this is mine!):cwink:

I liked him in the cartoon. He and Cable seemed like the same guy until they finally put them in that Time arc together. I did like the fact that he backed Tony in the Civil War. Seemed logical.
