State your opinion a character

Well, technically, thanks to mind control, she was raped in limbo, impregnated, and then when she got back to Earth, gave birth to her rapist.......yeah....I'd drink too after that.

I think I might need to drink just from reading that.

i only started reading about Ms Marvel around when New Avengers launched. I'm a fan. Her solo series was good for a while, though it really got ******ed when she died and was then brought back only like 4 months later. Lame.

Btw, lemme know if u still want me to take over Anubis. But if you changed ur mind and want to keep going, rock on.

I'll let you know. I got a few more I wanna get done.

Some teams.

And I wanna try out places as well as items of the MU.

She's a great character, and her current status shows that characters can recover from bad things being done to/with them. I like her and Simon together. And I like that she's basically a tribute to Supergirl.

The stuff with her and Simon was pointless and out of left field. Bendis put those two together then promptly forgot about them seemingly a few months later. Remind you of anybody else? *cough* Hawkeye/Spider-Woman

I thought those two got together in her comic.

Apocalypse

He's all right, but he falls apart under the weight of his own mythology. They set him up to be this be-all, end-all threat to mutantkind, and then he just sort of... went away. I heard he came back, but you'd never know it unless you were looking for him. Normally, you can get away with super-powerful badasses who pose a threat to everything by sending them out to space and making them cosmic powerhouses, but Apocalypse is hamstrung by his connection to--and pretty much sole interest in--Earth's mutants. He doesn't work off of Earth, at least in the incarnations I've read. Someone could make him work in a new context, I'm sure, but no one seems all that interested in trying. So he's just... there. Being a sad shadow of the threat he was supposed to be. A poor man's wannabe-Thanos stuck on some backwater planet in the ass-end of nowhere. The hillbilly of super-powerhouse villains.

I loved him in the X-Men series of the 90's. They should have had him do all that junk Onslaught did.

:doom: :doom: :doom:

Sucks big time. he was suppose to be this big bad boogey man!" oh Apocalypse is coming! Be careful or he will get you! dude was like oh "i am here to create my horsemen and yadda yadda blah blah. really the only thing he ever did was change angel blue and talk alot! big hype! big nothing as a villain. I'll take Unus the untouchable over this guy any day. He sucks!

He annoys me. He IS basically Marvel's Mongul, who is a wannabe Thanos, who is a wannabe Darkesid. So he's like watching a 4th or 5th generation VHS copy of a movie: blurry, poor quality.

Conceptually he's a good villain but in reality he hasn't really lived up to his reputation.

I actually like his interpretations in other media (TV, Video games) more! Kick-ass design though.

He's never been used well. He started off great in X-Factor then became a ghost that hung over the line for years. He sucked in X-Cutioners Song, sucked in Onslaught and sucked in the Twelve. The only time he was good was AoA and that was an alternate version.

Remender on Uncanny X-Force has been doing some interesting stuff with the name of Apocalypse as opposed to the character. He had the 5 year old clone for a minute there and revealed there's more out there. Also Warren has been completely taken over by his dark side and rocks the giant A belt buckle.

Apocalypse has been reduced to an aura of impending doom rather that a physical villain you can fight. He's a villain that if I never heard of the name or saw him again, I wouldn't mind.

A bigger waste of potential you'll never find.
