Ares rocks!!that dude used to be all kinda sorry before and then got bad ass. his crowning moment for me was when he was convo with Hercules and was all "they love your ass brother, but they spit on me!" You are a drunk while i have always been the steadfast one! That was cool and some serious modus operandi. i love too when he kept calling War machine "his champion" Rhodney was all "hell naw i aint". Ares was like but you love to bask in the blood of your enemies! you are indeed my champion! That &^% was cool and rocked!!

I'd really love to see Herc regain his powers and have to go down to Tartarus for Ares' soul himself. Sweet, poetic irony.

But yeah, Ares is awesome. One of the very few who actually got more awesome when modern writers changed him up a lot. Before, he used to just get beat up by Thor and Hercules all the time. I do miss the mohawk, though.

Ares is cool. I'm in no rush for him to come back but I am certainly looking forward to it. He'd be great under Steve's leadership.

Yeah, Phobos bit it in Secret Warriors a while back. You saw Ares hugging him and telling him he did a good job in what I assume were the Elysian Fields. It was touching.

He's awesome and made of flags. I've only read him in the most recent series by Cornell, but that comic was amazing and left a big impression on me. I wish he were on the main Avengers team, but then he'd be written by Bendis, and I really dont want to see that.

LONDON CALLING!!*CB rocks baby! every since i 1st saw him as a kid in marvel team-up with spidey. loved him in Excalibur!( he along with nightcrawler were my fav! He got that sick ass union jack outfit too( i like the full face mask better but hey i aint picky!)love the mystical mojo around his ass! one of the few dudes who are worthy of Captain in front of his name!( captain atom should get demoted!) i wasnt too happy when the chick took over cause Brian is my man!CB rocks like BEATLEMANIA!!

The first CB I saw was when the dude had the scepter he used for his powers. That was pretty sweet costume-wise, gotta say. I like the current Captain Britain, but can't say I love him. But like BV said I'd like to see him on Avengers. I'd like to see how he interacts with the more mainstream characters.

My only exposure to CB was in New Excalibur and he was alright I guess.

cap britains a great character..i wish he would be put on the main avengers team..he's also very powerful now..with powers that get stronger via his confidence like gladiator.

Captain Britain's a bit bland. I've enjoyed a lot of things he's in, but I can't say I've particularly enjoyed him except for when Cornell wrote him in Captain Britain and MI-13. Even then, he was overshadowed by other characters on the roster, like Pete Wisdom and Faiza.

But his resurrection is totally one of the all-time great resurrections of foreverdom.

I like Captain Britain a lot but on the Avengers....? Nah, I'd rather see him on his own team whether it be Excalibur again or Great Britain Avengers or something....

Never really ever got into Captain Britain. However, I've heard a lot of good things about the Captain Britian and MI 13 run by Paul Cornell. I've dug some of Cornell's work in the past so I may check it out and see what Captain Britain is all about.
