The Dark Horse series Joss Whedon wrote in the early '00s.

Fray is an eight-issue comic book limited series, a futuristic spin-off of the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Written by Buffy creator Joss Whedon, the series follows a Slayer named Melaka Fray, a chosen one in a time where vampires (called "lurks") are returning to the slums of New York City, and the rich-poor divide is even greater.[1] Volume one is drawn by Karl Moline (pencils) and Andy Owens (inks).

This is probably worth a read. I'm over the whole Buffy thing though, so I'll probably skip it...

Okay, so I was a total geek and spent my Friday night/Saturday morning watching Game of Thrones season 3 in one sitting.
I still feel like I've been beaten by lead pipes. I mean, lead pipes of awesomeness but nevertheless... ow.

She's okay. Not my favorite character in the series, but if she was, she'd be dead.

Her story was my least favourite part of season 1. Seemed like every time something really interesting went down in Kings Landing or somewhere, the story would cut away to her and Drago farting around in the desert for ages.

But she's grown on me a lot in 2 and 3.

Sounds like she'd fit in pretty well with the Twilight universe & that's not a compliment to the character.

There's a comic for Mercy Thompson?

I been reading the books. She's pretty cool. I really like the world she lives in more than the actual character. Vampires (granted I"m sick of Vampires, but these Vamps are effin' monsters, not tortured souls who just need the love of some chick to save em.), Fairy's, Gremlin's, Werewolves (Also sick of them but their pack hierarchy and magic is intriguing as hell.), Ghosts, and Skin Walkers. It's kinda awesome.

Comic wise I don't know.
