I don't read a lot of Marvel, but when I did I wasn't into him. Terrible, I know.

I really like the movie though.

I'm not much of a Thor fan either, but he does have some enjoyable stories

I like Thor because he's unlike any other hero before or even after him. No one had ever done a superhero based on the Norse mythos & it was pure brilliance by Stan Lee, Larry Leiber, & of course Jack Kirby.

Alan Moore said it was all Jack Kirby, Stan Lee added true believers and signed his name as writer

Though honestly, since the movie, or at least slightly before it, they've kinda dropped it from the character.

Hagar's cool! I dig em! dopey sidekick, domineering wife, bookworm son who didnt want to plunder and pillage, hot Valkyrie daughter. it was kinda like a pre cursor to the simpson's only with animal pelts and breast plates!

Dude, the Dialog is awesome....if it weren't for that, you wouldn't get lines like this:

So here's the thing: The one episode I watched in its entirety was friggin' brilliant... but it must have been an experimental episode or something because it wasn't actually about Jack. He was barely in it.

I think it was a neo-noirish short story about a robot P.I hired to track down Jack and get his pet dog back, it all built up to this really pathos-laden Blade Runner-ish conclusion... I think.
That sounds a bit mental, but it really was great...

I friggin love JACK!! That show transverse from the comedic to the brilliantly clever sublime that all the great toons do! One of the best was when jack was a frigging "club kid" and Aku's henchman was a vinyl spinning "DJ" it was brilliant and satire at its best! I LOVE JACK! JACK gotta get back,back to the past samuria JACK!

I haven't read the books, but I was absolutely obsessed with BSG for the vast majority of 2009, and the Cylons were really well done in it.

I've seen reruns of the old Galactica series from the 70's & those bots are really badass, looking, all shiny, with the red light blinking back & forth.

Look/design= freakin bad ass!!
Anything else= crap!

There was a running gag back then for being highly evolved they were some really dum ass robots! Since it was always 3 in a ship that was always. Getting blown out the sky! A big eh!!

I find it kinda messed up that he has a house out in the suburbs, owns a car, and swings with giant rats and talking ducks with anger management problems, while a fellow K9, Pluto, lives in a dog house, eats kibble, and licks himself, like an animal.
