State Your Opinion on a Character!!!! (Reboot) - Part 2

I remember Jack Flag when he was introduced in that awful Cap storyline where his SS serum was killing him. It was cool to see Warren Ellis dig him up and do something with him interesting.

All I saw of him was in Thunderbolts 111, he was a boss
Bullseye had to be the cheater taking him out

never really read anything with him so my summation of jack would be unsubstantiated.. but i did dig his name and outfit! if that counts for anything!

Loved him on Guardians of the Galaxy. He was a perfect POV character, and he was a nice homage of sorts to Major Victory on the original Guardians. A Guardians team needs a Captain America fanboy. :cap:

FRANK "NUKE" SIMPSON

Yeah, Jack was great in GOTG, which was pretty much my only exposure to the character. So I think he's awesome.

Nuke? Meh. :o

I did not know he was once a Thunderbolt
All I know him from is DareDevil: Born Again, and he is such a stinker in that story

He wasn't an Thunderbolt he was in Ellis's Thunderbolts run back when Osborn led the team and they hunted down unregistered heroes during the Civil War and Jack was one of them and he put one hell of a fight.

I like Nuke it was kind of weird when they made hm scourge but he was so well written in the current Captain America

eh! i can take em or leave em! i did kinda like how this dude with a US FLAG tattooed on his face was HOOKED on red, white and blue pills... there's an underlying message in there somewhere!:woot:.. but overall eh!

For me, Nuke has to be one of the most boring characters ever.

Him being Scourge was the only interesting thing they ever did with him.

Loved Ultimate version of him. Also agree he was good in recent cap appearance

Jack Flagg - I liked him in the GOTG run and he did a great job in that issue of Thunderbolts.

Nuke - The only good thing I've ever seen him in was Born again. Other than that I don't really like him. Of course I have an issue with anyone who is obsessively patriotic beyond rational limits.

Nuke sorta defines how Marvel comics has gotten veterans wrong and does them in such cliche fashion. Then, the crisp and poignant veteran stories like Rich Rider returning to earth after the Annihilation war go unnoticed...great stuff!

I can't stand Nuke...I'm so glad freaking Remender "Pretty Much" perma deathed him...wish Walker could have had the killing blow..even if he was sorta repentant.

jack Flagg- like him, but it does kinda define how DnA over extended their reach and started watering down the product....still really like him..the T-bolts stuff was great as well.

I have enjoyed this character every since first saw him in the avengers west coast issue 1, i was disappointed to see him not join as a member though.

He fought both Punisher and DareDevil
An idiot with gun implants in his arms, he really put the meaning of arms in his arms

He's alright. He's the uber-violent type that's mainly crossed paths with DD and Punisher.

Best Bushwacker story I've read:
