Finally a character I've heard of! Gifted was a great story. I don't particularly like her, but you're not really supposed to. I think she's a human with good intentions and didn't meant to be a bigot, but she still was. I haven't read to much of the science team stuff, where she tried to redeem herself.

Of course that is ignoring the dozens of mutant power stopping tech that's been used against them for decades now. I can see why you'd want a permanent cure for some people but a temporary suppressant would be nice so you could just turn it off and on at will. I'm sure Rogue would have loved to have one of those made like a bracelet or a necklace that she could just tap in a code and turn her powers off or on. It's not like they don't have a few dozen tech geniuses on staff/as friends that could make those in a few weeks/days/hours.
