Shroud might be cooler if he were to do his hero posing as villain thing with a team made up of Darkforce users. I already can see the possibilities of a series with him an Cloak and Dagger at the center.

^ i would be cool with that Krypton! that could be interesting with Darkstar, Shroud, Blackout, vanisher all on a team only cloak would be the problem since dagger would have to be along with him!

I generally like him in that he was for a long time in the Quicksilver, Namor, Sunfire mode of *****ie hero who was a hero, and actually had some reasoning behind his *****e act. I have to say, I lost track of him along with most X characters so I don't know what's being done with him now. I know he got married recently-ish, but that's it.

I like him, every team needs an *******. t: His whole relationship and marriage was very well done in Marjorie Lu's Astonishing X-Men and she actually made Kyle his husmand a great, well developd character

All I know about him is his outfit, he has a sister and they both joined Alpha Flight

Huge X-men fan, but, for me, Northstar has always been meh.

Not a bad character, they've done some decent development with him over the years including coming out as gay and getting hitched. He is from Quebec though and that means he's a terrible character.

ehhhhhh! never sat me on fire! he reminded me especially with the pointed ears of a submariner rip!( Namor by far is the best *****e) and cause he joined hands with his sister to produce some power(a wonder twins rip!) being gay really didnt do anything to make him anything( to me it was like big deal! DC's pied piper was much better in that regard). he's still ehhh to me!

All I know about him is that he's gay. That's his cliche. Don't even know what his powers are, or if he's a mutant or not. Just that he's married and it's supposed to be a big deal that marvel took an obscure character and made him gay! rather than make a new good character that just happened to be gay. It's like how comic movies (and g I joe) would rather change white characters to black than include already existing black characters as major players. Cuz the whites one are the only ones that are interesting, I guess? (Sarcasm) even though blade was the precursor to xmens movie success. Back to north star, Is he Canadian by chance?

I like the X-Men, but Northstar to me has never struck me as an interesting character. Whenever I see him or hear about him, I immediately associate him with Alpha Flight.

In his defense, Northstar was gay looong before it became trendy in comics.

I like Northstar, although he feels a bit derivative to me. He's got a certain brusqueness to him that, when you take his powers into account, makes him feel like Quicksilver's Canadian clone to me. Also, he kind of sucks when you consider that he's the closest thing Marvel has to a DC-level speedster--who can fly, no less--yet he's still treated as kind of a chump in fights.

Northstar should be at least a mid tier guy due to his powers. He can fly and move superfast, he has enhanced strength and durability and his reaction times are far beyond almost everyones. He should be able to infiltrate a base, take down most of the guards and get out within minutes and without being detected while the rest of the x-men have to smash their way in and hope they don't break what they're looking for.

Exactly. And while Quicksilver's usually struggled to make it to mach-5, Northstar's supposed to be able to easily zip around at the speed of light. Yet Quicksilver is known as Marvel's main speedster because he's a much more interesting character with a deeper backstory.

Here's a thought, what if Quicksilver and Northstar hooked up? They have similar temperaments and abilities, both their sisters are crazy as **** and they both have a disdain for anyone slower than they are. I think they could be the only ones who could tolerate each other for any length of time.

That would be kind of funny, although Quicksilver's never been portrayed as anything other than straight as an arrow.

I think Pietro and Jean-Paul are so similar, they wouldn't be able to stand each other.
