State Your Opinion on a Character!!!! (Reboot) - Part 2

He's a terrible idea to me. A villain with mastery over time travel who constantly loses to people who are ancient to him? Ridiculous

It would be like give a machine to fight a dozen unarmed men and the ability to re try as much as you want and yet still losing every time.

In fairness, I think the present day has the highest concentration of superheroes in Earth's history, as well as the most organized superhumans & mutants in general. He's probably not used to dealing with 1,001 affiliated superhumans and mad scientists in other time periods.

Only thing I've ever read with him is the current Uncanny Avengers run. Little confused by his power set. No real opinion of the guy as of yet.

I like Kang; he had some awesome stories during Englehart's Avengers run.

I love Kang.

One of the best Villains in comics.....if you ignore everything Bendis has ever done with him....but that could be said for most characters. :o

I sort of like him but they've made him way too over complicated.

If a guy is five different characters at the same time then you need to back off and reanalyze what he is. He's Rama-Tut, The Scarlet Centurion, Kang, Iron Lad, Immortus and others. He's also (maybe) related to Doom and Reed Richards. Not to mention he's been around so much that he has an entire council of alternate versions of him.

Aziz is the one who posts them, we all just comment on who he posts.

no clue who that is. But I like kang from EMH!!!

edit, that pic looks fan made. is she a fan character?

But that just proves my point. He has mastery over time! OVER TIME!

So why not show up 1 year before the first heroes get their powers, and kill them before their powers! Or show up with some of that SUPER advanced tech and kill them with that. Doom and Iron Man match up as pretty powerful with just modern tech, his super advanced future tech SHOULD be able to kill them with ease.

Makes no sense.

Kang's awesome. I would like to see him as the main villain in a future Avengers film.

The thing about Kang is that he has integrity. He COULD go back in time and kill them as babies. He COULD come back seconds after their last knock down drag out battle with a full army and keep doing so until he eventually wins. But he doesn't. He fights the Avengers because of the challenge of it. It's fun to him. The guy has taken over countless worlds and time periods. The only thing he's got left to prove is taking over the Age of Marvels. Doing that by basically cheating is just bulls**t in his eyes. That's why I like Kang. The guys a warrior when written correctly.

Kang at his Best? Avengers Forever and Kang Dynasty. That's where I fell in luff with the character. Knoble in his own way.

Now, I don't know about this whole alternate universe Nathan Richards boos**t. I'm gonna assume that's some Bendis s**t. Busiek pretty much solved the origin thing....at least until Iron Lad showed up. But it wasn't that hard to understand. He was some dick from the future, found Doom's time machine, went back to ancient Egypt and became Rahuma Tut. Ruled for awhile, had some shenanigans with En Sabah Nur, got beat up by the FF, then had to make a run back to his time. Over shot it, ended up in a future where mankind was almost extinct. Scattered into various warring tribe. He used his intellect and future Tech to unite Mankind and take over the Galaxy. That's when he became Kang. That's Kang. You could talk about Immortus or the Scarlet Centurion but they aren't really him. (Immortus is a time clone created by the Time Sisters or whatever their name was and SC is an alternate universe version of him who fought the Squadron Supreme.)

It's like when people used to complain about Hawkman. I understood his origins perfectly. It's when you attempt to "fix" it that it gets muddied.

Umm...

It would be impossible to discuss it without a common frame of reference. Who... Da... Fudge... Is... THAT?

I kinda remember him from something but no idea where and I haven't read the event with him in it so I have no opinion on him really.

He's like evil Jonah Hex on a motorbike, with more scars and a helmet to mask it
Visually at least

He's a nobody that is being used for a key role in the current event. He'll either go back to being a nobody or be used more......I'm gonna guess the former.

Never seen this guy before.

All I can say about Orb is, cool helmet. :oldrazz:
