MANNNNNNN! I FREAKING LOVE THAT DUDE!! That dude is like some Space Hamlet or something!! " what fools these mortals be" on a surfboard! giving up your babe , your planet your very FREEDOM to become some butler to some Purple and Magenta wearing planet eater! " to shuffle off this mortal Silver Coil" and... oh to be free of that &**^head Galactus!! NORRIN is the %^&* Stan and Jack broke the Melancholy mode with that dude!! HELL YEAH!! LOVE THAT DUDE!!

One of the greatest heroes, dude saved planets, and sacrificed the return to his home in favor of saving Earth, though he summoned Galactus there, it was a mistake to rectify, and he did.

I'm 40/60 on him. 40 times out of 100 I don't care. 60 times, he's all right.

He can be either totally over or underpowered depending on how he's written and depending on what he's facing. Anything Thanos and above and he seems underpowered while anything below that he's overpowered.

His cartoon ended on a hilarious note with the universe being destroyed and a big "THE END?" at the end. It never really could have taken off like the Spider-Man cartoons did because he's got the whole space Buddist thing going on while the kids want explosions and fights.

Loved SS: Requiem though.

The Surfer is great though it's been a long time since he's had an ongoing worth really getting into. He's a great outsider character, who looks on at humanity with a heart that has seen and done much in the Universe. A solitary character, he can work with a coterie of back up characters or by his lonesome. By dint of power he should always be a big player in the Marvel U. but he goes through long periods of being MIA. I think it's time he was at the heart of some big storyline.

Eh. I mean I dig his look and story but I find him rather boring too.

I like him. He should be playing a larger role in all things at Marvel. Y'know...when the Surfer shows up for some reason, something major is about to go down. And it doesn't necessarily have to have anything to do with Galactus either. He's transcended that aspect.

I find that his stories are often enhanced by the use of recreational narcotics.

Surfers been one of my favs for awhile. Like others have said I would like to see him be more involved in the grand scheme of things. Or see some new cosmic crossovers.

Really dug the Annhilation and Thanos Imperative times.

Hugely important character for the MU. One of my favourite cosmic characters.

The Surfer is cool. I'll admit I haven't read much of his various solo titles, though I plan to get around to them some time. He's one of the few characters whose rights I really wish Fox would return to Marvel.

I believe if they gave that cartoon another shot now, it would be appreciated a lot more. Smart Cartoons are in demand is seems and I could see 3 seasons of this. His origin story in that cartoon was EPIC.

eh! the only thing i dug was she got storm to loosen her cape and go all "Mohawk" and roll in the hay together with her!( come on!! we all know that was implied!) Storm plays for both teams!:woot:
being the leader of a whole group of sewer living mutants( master splinter should have kicked all their asses for being ther!) was some dumb ass &*()though! so a big i never cared for her.

I loved the Morlocks in general, but I never really cared for Callisto.

my big problem with the morlocks was the same with the whole freakin island of them of genosha. the deluge of all these mutants took away from the uniqueness of the Xmen! if you have them saying humans hate us and we dont belong, then why not just go to the island and you wont be bothered. with all these mutant running around living in sewers. it made the Xmen who were fighting for equality look like pompous d-bags living in a mansion with a freaking jet underground and Gorgio Armani custom made spandex oufits.

I thought that was Yukio who did that for Storm. Unless you were joking then carry on. :oldrazz:

naw hill-man! yukio might have had her time too, but Callisto was THE ORGINATOR!
she was the the one who got Storm to come over to the "bad girl side" (it's always the bad ones!mom always told me to stay away from the bad ones! ) and showed her whats up! chick gotta her to cut her hair and all that!
