She's awesome. Really really hoping that the new FF movie epically bombs so we can see the FF with the Avengers in movies.

Is this post a joke gone wrong? This series helped define superheroes and comics more than Watchmen or TDKR ever did. And... you want them to mooch off the Avengers.

I've got bad news for you. The company that created them wants it that way too.

She's still probably everyone's least favorite Fantastic Four (well, aside from HERBIE), but she is no longer a drag on the team.

I rank her second.

Ben
Sue
Reed
Johnny

Though Reed's stock is falling fast.

Yeah, I'm at Sue, Ben, Johnny, and waaaaay down at the end, Reed now. New Avengers is a good read, but it is not doing Reed's likability any favors.

Ignore the before the edit.

I have no clue who that is in the least. Aziz, could you give us an idea of what book she's from or what other character she is associated with, cuz... Total blank right now.

Deadpool.
-Huh. I should know who she is though, but I still don't. Wiki is my friend, I guess :woot:

-As for Sue, she's a great character when used properly, and is definatly more likable than Reed. I've never really followed the FF much though...

It's apparently been edited. I'm curious to see who it was.

I like X-Men First Class. It got me interested in the X-Men movies again. I skipped The Last Stand. I watched Origins and regretted it. But this was a quite cool movie that attempted to go back to what the X-Men were all about. Sure there are reasons to quibble about continuity and I don't think it's a flawless movie, but all that really doesn't matter. It's a good X-Men movie that entertains.

I enjoyed a first Class. Was refreshing after the turd that was Xmen 3.

I want them in the Marvel cinematic universe where they belong and can be part of future movie stories like Civil War as they should. Fox did a mediocre job with them he first time then absolute garbage the second.

First Class was awesome. A breath of fresh air to the franchise after the atrocity that was X3 and all the Wolverine movies.

it was pretty good. i would put it after Xmen 2 and Xmen DOFP.it was a pretty solid flick, but there were also things wrong with it like Darwin, Moria and White Queen were wasted, but Fassbender and Xavier were cool! its pretty good.

I liked First Class a lot. Haven't seen DoFP yet. I'll get around to it some day.

First Class was good but yeah, Emma Frost was wasted.

I really genuinely disliked First Class. The plot and the pacing were clunky and awkward, Xavier and Magneto were completely passive throughout most of the film (gathering mutants together and building Cerebro weren't even their idea), Beast's subplot was really awkwardly shoehorned in, everyone on the team besides Xavier, Magneto, and the two blue people were complete non-characters who contributed nothing to the story, Angel's decision to switch sides was completely unmotivated and amounted to nothing, the Hellfire Club members switched loyalties cartoonishly easily, Sebastian Shaw's plan was just silly, Shaw's motivation simply being a vague, watered down, dehumanized version of Magneto's politics was weak and fairly lazy, the dialogue was pretty bad, the seams from when different unrelated scripts were chopped up and taped together were really obvious to me, and Magneto realizing the full potential of his power through the magic of Hanukah was the dumbest, WASPiest writing I have ever seen.

The fact that people like this movie as much as they do, and even cite it as an example of brilliant writing and one of the best CBMs ever, is genuinely baffling to me.

Now, of course, none of this is to say that the movie is putrid and offensive. It's not. It's just kind of incompetently put together and really really lame.

Oh, and Wolverine's cameo sucked. It was just pointless fan service that took me out of the film.

I liked it a lot, it certainly reinvigorated the X-Franchise. But it wasn't quite as good as X2 or DOFP.

I will admit, Magneto the Nazi Hunter was awesome. And not just in a "this is badass!" way, those seems were genuinely well written and performed.

Sue Storm - Great when written well, when not done well, boring and useless. She's the team mom, the most powerful member and a mama bear when she's pissed. Lots of fun.

As for the FC and DOFP movies, FC was good in a "We're not doing 'Wolverine guest starring - The X-Men' movies anymore." way. It was different and we got to see Magneto kicking ass and him and Xavier hanging out.

DOFP is my favorite X-Men movie. I love it so much. It fixed the crap X-Men movies so they never happened, it was fun, great story and all around entertaining. I had almost no hope when they said Wolverine would be a part of it but I was so happy they did the movie right.

I really like First Class. The X-team itself could have been a lot better but the most important characters Magneto & Xavier were nailed.

They gave us a great Xavier and Magneto and they had great chemistry together which made it really work. The teams of others didn't really matter much since [BLACKOUT]almost all of them are dead anyway by DOFP [/BLACKOUT] and besides one or two they weren't really that interesting.

Yep. I eventually want them to go back to the present and take all the good stuff (so yes we have 2 Xaviers running around ;)) and leave the not so good stuff behind. Comic fans will be used to that kind of thing but the GA will be like 'what the hell?!'

Old and Young Xavier running (Rolling?) around while two Magnetos snark at each other and two Wolverines drinking each other under the table.

And thanks to the rolling around line I had a mental image of the two of them using the Cerebro room rolling around across the walls and ceiling like something out of Motocross.
