I actually never read much of the Marvel western books or characters. I remember that Johnny Storm was supposed to star in a movie about the Kid in the FF books and that they did a series where they riffed on his dandy outfit and made him gay. Other than that, I got nothin.

the only thing i remember about that dude was in an old avengers book where hawkeye for rest and relaxation went back in time to the old west ( what?! its a comic!) to hang out with him and was fighting and chasing chicks .Then Hawkeye needed to go back and Rawhide came back with him to the present to fight and chase chicks!..which made it even odder when MARVEL made him gay! like they just pulled that &*(outta thin air!!
so from that he's okay i guess.

Yep and that's the only reason I can even comment on him.

However, I love that he's a lawyer named Matt that doubles as a masked superhero with a secret identity. I think the similarities end there (OK, they both also had red hair), but I think that's all Denny O'Neil needed to do the crossover.
