No comments on her? Or her costume?

Ok, I'll tell you what I see looking at this cover:
Batgirl (Barbra Gordon) hair.
Cyclops classic costume (Claremont/Byrne/Cockrum days)
Yellow Jacket's hat.
Phoenix (Jean Grey) belt.
Iron Fist kicking pose.

Well, that's a description of what you see, but I don't know if it's a comment.

Describing what I see is a comment. :D
What do you see looking at that cover?

That was back in the early 00's when Bill Jemas was still around, wasn't it?
yeah it was about that time tango. i didnt read the book but it was all over the news. i was like the RAWHIDE KID?!? where did they pull that outta their hat from!

Anyways i dig HELLCAT. she kinda got on my nerves hanging with the beast and wanting to be a superhero , but then sehe stole that costume which gave her powers and got cool

but then she got possessed by some demon( thats what she get for marrying the son of Satan!) and becoming this real cat thing for Satan( hey! its a comic) plus i dug her as a defender! well cause i dig the defenders!Hellcat's cool! i dig her.

Hellcat is cool. That's an awful look for her, though. I'm intruiged to see how they use her in A.K.A. Jessica Jones.

And I'm just thinking, you know what this sub-forum needs? A lounge.

Earned her name.

I always thought she was stupid. Like if somebody gave Betty or Veronica super powers.

I liked her in the few Defenders books I read. Never read a whole lot of her otherwise.

Didn't she try to blackmail Beast to join the Avengers or was that someone else?

I want to like Patsy but... Man what a convoluted mess of a history. I don't hate her but... Yeah there are better heroines out there. That said... It is kind of cool that Marvel honored a character from some of their non super hero properties by making one a true costumed hero.

Maybe the least favorite aspect of the Thor mythos. I know they have beefed up her character in the last 10 years or so. Still... I could care less if she lived or she died. The elements of Jane and Don Blake have always felt off in Thor, to me. I just have never had any interest in that part of the Thor story. It's like, who gives a crap about Jane and Don's relationship when freakin' Sif and Enchantress are out there?

Which one? Personally, I like the zero boobs movie version what studies the stars and the cartoon version what drives an ambulance over the possibly current Girl Thor scientist what used to work with Donald Blake.

I wanna know people's opinions on Donald Blake. Has he had a turn yet?

Blake? Never cared. Seems odd and convoluted and not in a good way. Let's be honest, most of the best runs of Thor these last 30 years plus, have been without either Blake or Foster. Earth stuff just feels shoehorned into Thor far too often. Name me a really awesome Earth based Thor foe? Ah, ah... Sit down Absorbing Man... I said AWESOME. Fact is, Thor's world of Asgard and that cast of characters are always more interesting than Thor's adventures on Earth.

Foster was pretty good for the time in the comics and I like her in the movies since she's willing to basically tell gods to go **** themselves. These days in the comics she just seems to be around. She;s like Betty Brant in Spider-Man, former love interest, knows the guy and the talk every now and then.

Hahahaha! that would shake up Riverdale!:cwink:

yeah! she was tagging around with beast ( i think they did it!hehe) cause she was blackmailing him to be a superhero. she was involved with the evil corporation BRAND guy.he was some high CEO dude there at Brand. which was also the place that Hank worked and experimented on himself (he was just humoring her ass!) which is why at the beginning, she annoyed the &*(outta me. anyways

Jane foster
i liked her.. up until i knew Sif was in the picture! She was my favorite Thor love interest. I don't know.. i liked the fact that you had these omnipotent god beings who could do whatever they wanted and he was tied to some earth chick! 1) it kept him tied to earth and to keep helping our dumb earth beings asses and 2) it also kept him grounded with some humility!( not like freakin Odin).it kept him humble knowing that one day she was going to die and he would keep living! kinda like "HIGHLANDER"( the good one! not all the other crappy ones!):cwink:

and i liked Donald Blake! cause it was a lesson to tell that fool "not to get too big for his cape!"( unlike Freaking Odin! like that dude should go around giving lessons in "humility!" sheesh!)
:cwink:

I remember her trying to blackmail Beast to the Avengers. She's all like "He's Hank McCoy!" and they're like "And? We knew this a while back. Hell, he goes drinking with some of us every now and then." Meanwhile Beast is standing behind them all and flipping her off.

Hahahaha! that would shake up Riverdale!:cwink:

Um...

They kinda did that a looong time ago.

Not a big fan of Jane. I don't like Thor having love interests in general. Same w/ Hercules.

Makes you wonder if THOR and Hercules have clashed so much because of the different ways their relationships with their fathers evolved? Herc didn't even meet his real father until he was a grown Demi-God as it were. And he was cool to Hercules for a long time and has had more interaction with him in the modern age of raves than he did the previous millennium. Thormeanwhile was the golden boy from the giddy up. Odin always focused on teaching Thor life lessons and was very involved with his rearing. Perhaps too much, as he can seem too stern a father. I liken Thor in this scenario as like a star athlete that is the son of another famous athlete and he's been under the thumb of his trainer/father all through middle school, and high school, and college and he's in the pros and his own man but dad keeps butting in like he's still coach. Hercules is like the illegitimate son of the richest man in town that after he grew up was finally recognized by the father. Sure, he get's invited to family get together so, he's in the will, hell, dad has used his power and influence to help him out of a couple of jams even... But there's a distance there, no matter how much father sees himself in the son nor how much the son sees of himself in the father. One the neglected child that made it on his own, the other the over achiever raised to be the best. Of course these two guys are gonna butt heads.

Well whattya know!... you learn something new everyday! lemme guess JUGHEAD'S power was to be able to eat anything?! and why does stupid Reggie need a mask?!!like Mr.Weather bee cant figure that ^&*(out!!
HAHAHAHAHHAHA!

"My dads the head god."
"Nun-unh. Mine is!"
"Oh yeah?"
*Fight ensues*

HAHAHAHAHHAHA!

Reggie was the 'bad guy' who really didn't do much bad. It was like Super-Friends if they made it even more PG and less accidentally entertaining.

oh so thats the reason i never got it!... though i might have if they had put Betty in that leather Ms. Marvel outfit! Hahahahah!:cwink:
those crazy Riverdale high kids and their wacky adventures!

Yeah no, the raciest they ever got since they were ever made was when they 'killed' Archie, married him off, put him in a skintight superhero outfit or put him in a band.

I remember one thing from when I was a kid that they went to the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Of course they didn't mention it by name, everyone dressed up in halloween costumes not related to the movie and just hid the screen from ever even being close to looked at.

SAGE AKA Tesa
Sage_010.jpg

Sage is a mutant who possesses a cyberpathic mind that functions like a computer with unlimited storage capacity. Sage is able to record and analyze vast amounts of data, including the entire genetic code of another living being, and can also calculate complex statistics in mere seconds.

Sage’s memory is kinetic in nature, allowing her to instantly recall specific information with incredible speed and accuracy. Sage also possesses the ability of total recall, as her mind stores everything that she sees and experiences. As such, Sage is able to track the probability of an event by piecing together stored data.

Like a computer, Sage is able to perform multiple tasks at once by allocating a partition of her brain to each task. For example, Sage can use her mind to replay a movie she had watched previously, play a game of Internet chess, and focus on battling an opponent without any one task distracting her from another.

After analyzing the DNA of another superhuman mutant, Sage is able to selectively evolve their existing genetic traits as well as catalyze the untapped genetic potential of latent mutants. Once begun, the procedure is irreversible and can often result in unpredictable side effects.

Sage can also sense the presence of the mutant gene in others who are in close proximity to herself, and can reflect mental attacks - be they psionic or cybernetic in origin - back on their originators.

Sage also once possessed low-level telepathic abilities that allowed her to read minds, communicate with others over a distance, project her astral form, manipulate the minds of others, and create realistic mental illusions.

Sage- a forgoten mutant who has tons of potential. I feel like Im the only one that knows her (which is why I included her power set) and Im the inly one that actually liked this character.

After her run in X-Treme X-Men she paired with Bishop and I loved them as a pair io detectives, but that was short lived.

She is supossedly the very first X-Men and Charles had her as his spy. She spied on the Hell Fire Club- even though that was all made up after the fact I thought it was an awesome idea to use an obscure character and attempt to make her relevant. Not sure why she never really caught on.
