I like Thanos, but it really depends on how writers write him. I didn't care for Hickman's handling of him, but I thought DnA and Giffen's depictions were great. Starlin's Thanos was obviously fantastic.

This.

Infinity Gauntlet is still the measure I use in judging whether events are good or not. Absolutely love it and Thanos because of it.

Thanos is the best villain at Marvel only to be rivaled by Dr. Doom.

purple lava lips puss is my favorite comic book villain of ALL TIME! more than anybody else! I freaking love that dude ever since i saw him as a kid! with his mad titan self!

No wonder these guys got starring roles in Superhero Squad Show

The Pantheon

Irrelevant, flash in the pan characters. And rightfully so.

Bruce Banner was their leader, that should count as an important phase in his life
Did you know there is a PS1 Hulk game based on the era of Banner with them?

That's kinda unfair as IG was pretty much the best event I've ever read. Thanos is a great character and when used well he is amazing and totally enhances a story. In the Cancerverse saga, that was just amazing all around but putting him as the avatar of death in a universe where death was killed was frikkin awesome. I really should go reread that again. Personally I find he's a bit overpowered but as he normally deals with cosmic things it suits him more than other characters.

I didn't appreciate the Cancerverse stories until after they finished. Then I went back and read through them again and saw how awesome they were. Especially the final fall of the big bad. That was just creative and awesome!

I can't comment on the Pantheon, as I've only read an issue or two with them in it but remember nothing about them.

I remember the Pantheon, I didn't like them much in the Hulk series. I found that they were fairly flat characters and just uninteresting.

Ulysses (red hair, and a beard) is my favorite of the bunch, Bruce's most trusted confidant, and a good member, he's the only Pantheon member I like

The Pantheon were OK. I liked that era of Hulk. I should prob go back and reread it again.

She's one of Wolverine's lady friends from Japan. She's really one of the first of his many female allies to be introduced throughout the years. I like her. Didn't know that she ended up in a wheelchair though. From what I read it was something recent building off of when Logan was possessed by those demons a while back.

Time for one of my least favorites

Wanda_Maximoff_%28Earth-616%29_024.jpg

Scarlet Witch

As for Yukio I've read several things with her in it but she's never really made that much of an impression on me.

As for Wanda, since no one was ever consistent with her power level or just decided that she could do whatever they wanted at the time because of that, I've never really liked her much. She was just the 'deus ex machina' in case someone wrote themselves into a corner and needed something to happen to get them out so they got 'Chaos magic'.

She has a nice personality
At least that's not the Ultimate version of her

Yukio - I like her fine, but I've read very little with her in it, so she hasn't made much of an impression on me. Maybe one time other then the Wolverine mini?

Scarlet Witch - About the same, the only things I've read with her are House of M and Uncanny Avengers. I don't have an issue with her, but I haven't read enough for her to be a favorite.

I feel the same way, I never really liked magic in marvel because it's whatever the author wants it to be. Magic should be illogical (water+earth = gold) but not without a thematic system. Full metal alchemist and even Harry Potter come to mind.

Fullmetal Alchemist system is awesome, they explained it as science

Yukio- eh! i got tired of all those ninjas this and that in the 80's
Witch is HELLA AWESOME! I dont care what they do to her! she will always be COOL!
