Like him in everything but AvX. He and his friends had no business interfering and ruining the conclusion to a decade long X-Men story :csad:
You can blame it on writers and editors
I don't think what he did was wrong in that story

And cause I have to do this:

The Original Human Torch/Jim Hammond

Batroc? Umm... He's French and supposed to be a master of La Savate Boxe Francais, but... Well there is not much else to him (And have they really ever went into the Savate mastery?)

Jim Hammond? Umm... That Busiek/Ross Marvels story is good. That's really all I can muster.

The only things I've read Jim Hammond in are Marvels where it didn't go into much detail, and Chuck Austin's New Invaders series that I honestly kinda liked. I liked what I read with him at the time and would like to read more, but he's never in anything I have any interest in reading. Maybe I'll give Remender's Secret Avengers a try sometime. I think he's in that.

As mentioned above his little part done by busier and Ross was good.
In general I don't like him though because I prefer Johnny Storm and there's zero point in having 2 characters with the exact same look and powers

The only reason he came back to begin with was to tie him into the Vision.

eh! the only thing that made him cool was he used to be the vision and then that got thrown out! That dude cant hold a match to the other Human Torch! hahahaha get it match torches!! hahahaha.... aww skip it!

Maaan f**k ya'll. :argh:

Jim Hammond was the man. You want more than Marvels, go back and check out that Heroes 4 Hire series from the late 90's.

Every time I see that series at Half Priced Books I consider getting it. I really should if for no other reason than my love of Luke and Iron Fist (and Black Knight... which is also a bonus).

I like Jim in the Torch vs Torch story

I'll take consider this suggestion

I love Mockingbird. Jim McCann did an awesome job with her during his string of Hawkeye miniseries treating her as a hardened bad ass ex SHIELD agent.

Then Bendis gave her superpowers...

I've never cared for Mockingbird until the second volume of New Avengers. She was the first character that I saw fighting alongside Spider-Man that made me think, "You know, I think I'd be okay if they started dating." And I liked that she got superpowers. It wasn't like she could suddenly turn into rock or something. She was basically turned into a female Captain America.

Didn't like her before the superpowers, like her even less with them.
They should have left her dead permanently.

She killed Phantom Rider
And married Hawkeye

Don't know much about her

FREAKING LOVE MOCKING BIRD! every since her introduction in Marvel team up with spiderman!! i love a blondie who will fry you up bacon! Kick your head in with a steel baton and never let you forget HAWKEYE is her man!! Bobbi rocks!

There are times when I love Elektra, and there are times when I couldn't care less. I think it strongly depends on who is writing her, who is drawing her, and what the story is that she's involved in.

LOVE Elektra!
She's had some great solo story lines. She's also unfortunately often misused and had a really cruddy movie based on her

I've missed this thread!

Anyhow, Elektra is awesome and a nice reminder of the times when Frank Miller wasn't a complete lunatic.

Elektra is cool. She had one of the most hardcore comic book deaths of all time.

Elektra's great. Love all the stuff with her in Frank Miller's run. Haven't read any of her solo stuff, but planning on picking up the new one.
