Merlyn is a pretty bad ass villain I dig him

He makes a good arch enemy for Green Arrow

Merlyn was cool because it was more than just let's fight another archer. He was basically Ollie's Luthor.

i dig Merlyn, but then again i dig "dirty Mirrors!" it's the easy best concept!lets give a dude the same powers but make him bad. That's always been cool to me. i love dude's a smarmy ass*&^(* and thinks he a better archer.. plus throw in in some wolverine hair( how the *&^% do those guys get that hair like that?) and thats cool!

I always thought Merlyn was a Batman villain, and thus didn't think him to be as much of a gimmick as he is as a GA villain.

I see Merlyn as a cheap knock-off of Green Arrow who doesn't really pose much of a challenge to him because GA's the better archer. So he bores me. But pretty much everything about GA has bored me since Identity Crisis, so...

I love that guy! I like the way Kevin Smith expands on him further every time he gets into a comics kick. I really want to see him in Arrow if it gets picked up, that **** would be bizarre.

He's a wacky villain that I really dig and he's got a fun odd gimmick as well

I like his whole look as well its a neat looking costume
