If only Carrie's mom would have let her join the X-Men.
maybe she hates her because she got raped by her husband before he left her ? and after that Carrie was bornAnd you never considered perhaps the reason why she hates her daughter and thinks she is a demon is because she is mentally unstable?

yeah too bad it comes out in FALL instead of this month like it was SUPPOSED too![]()
Anyone else think Chloe is far too good looking for this part? Sissy Spacek looked really plain Jane-ish in the original.
Feel free to expand on the humour of it.
She is a 15 year old girl and looks like one. She has the appropriate natural awkwardness, not to mention she is a 15 year old girl.
Ok, she looks 15, I don't get how that changes anything from what I asked.
Unless you're 15 yourself, whether she is pretty or not really shouldn't matter.
What we should be looking for here is performance. If she is too cute for you, perhaps she will be able to make herself less so through her acting.
Well it kinda does if she's suppose to be playing some social outcast. Yes it may come through performance but I viewed the new trailer and had to laugh because I didn't buy it that a girl who looks like her would have problems making friends or be out of place dating the high school jock. Sissy Spacek really looked out of place.
So because one can be perceived to be nice looking, it is impossible for them to be social outcast? I think people forget how much simply be considered odd can get you. That and getting on the wrong side of a popular person.
I think Moretz once said that they considered her "too pretty" for the role, but then cast her. There must be a reason why that is.
If she's new to the school, anti-social or not part of the clique she could easily be treated horribly. Even if she's pretty that can pose as a threat to other girls. Girls are vicious!
she looks like an atractive 15 girl. there is no way that boys would make fun of her . they think only about one thing.so she doesnt work in this movie IMO.Anyone else think Chloe is far too good looking for this part? Sissy Spacek looked really plain Jane-ish in the original.
why does someone need to look ugly and dirty to be an outcastHmmm....not really feeling that trailer and I really want to like this movie. Carrie just seems way too cool and stylish. In the 1976 she looked like an outcast. She was poor, dirty, extremely shy, head always down, and you just can't but feel so bad for her.
She just doesn't look like an outcast or someone who would have difficulty making friends. I've been in high school...you can see the school pariahs from a mile away.

i think the scene where they throw tampons at her worked in the first movie. old horror movies had this ''over the top'' feeling. this will be a straight movie. oen girl doing it? yes. two? yes of course. but more then 5 ? no way.
Oh, ye gads, this looks awful.
Julianne looks pretty good, though hopefully not as one note as it appears to be written.
And yes, they did indeed reveal way too much. Yes, everyone knows the story, but you shouldn't give away that many key money shots in the trailer.
Oh new kid... trying to seem cool by acting all tough and cynical.![]()
