Horror Stephen King's "IT" Part I and Part II

These days, nothing about fandom surprises me, but it really is something to see folks on Twitter express confusion over [blackout]Stan[/blackout] being present in this group.

They really can't seem to comprehend that movie audience =/= book audience

Well, I don't know if his fate will change in the movie, but Stan is in the picture with them simply 'cause they're doing a table read of the screenplay.

‘It: Chapter Two’, ‘The Nun’ & More Part Of New Line’s 2nd Annual ‘ScareDiego’ At Comic-Con

New Line Cinema will be reprising their genre cinematic preview night ScareDiego at Comic-Con on Wed. July 18, at 9:30PM at the Horton Grand Theatre in the Gaslamp District.

Last year, New Line teed off Annabelle: Creation with a full sneak preview in addition to showing the first extended clips from It, and the first teaser from The Nun. Casts and filmmakers from Annabelle: Creation and It, specifically the Losers Club, were on hand presenting and talking about clips. New Line also flooded the city throughout the confab with a number of yellow-rain jacket individuals who each carried the signature It red balloon.

This year’s ScareDiego will provide fans with some early details about Andy Muschietti’s It: Chapter Two (which began filming yesterday, a photo of the grown-up cast was dropped) and there will be extended scenes from Corin Hardy’s The Nun, the next installment in The Conjuring universe opening on Sept. 9. In addition, there will be other surprise film announcements as well as filmmaker and talent appearances. SDCC runs from July 19-22.

Another post from Deadline mentions that news will be revealed at Comic-con.

It's weird how the two I'm not sold on (Bill and Beverly) are my two favorite actors of the bunch. :funny:

Are you choosing not to see the movie because of those casting choices? :o

Bill and Stanley are a little iffy to me resemblance wise, but everyone else is pretty spot on.

Old and young Stan have damn near the same face, they just gotta lighten up Bean's hair a bit.

Definitely not Pennywise, unless Pennywise is hugging one of the Losers. I'd say it's Bev hugging Bill or Ben.

Yeah, the more I look at it, it's either a hug with Beverly or a kiss.

Looks like Pennywise with a balloon to me. But maybe that is a sign I need new glasses...

Kinda looks like a woman with poofy reddish hair (Lillis or Chastain?) and a red balloon in front of her face.

Y'all are stupid. It's obviously Venom. :o

I wish I understood it.

Back in 2006 or so, the Spider-Man 3 teaser poster came out.

Now, the Spider-Man movies before then had posters which showed the villain of that film reflected in Spidey's eye. This was the poster for Spider-Man 2 with Doc Ock in Spidey's eye lens. I'm pretty sure there was also a poster for the first film in which Green Goblin was reflected, but I can't find it.

Anyway, when the Spider-Man 3 poster was revealed, there was much debate on the Hype about whether or not something or someone was reflected in Spider-Man's eye lens (there wasn't). People were hellbent on believing it was Venom the point where it was utter lunacy and they'd debate anyone about it. I hadn't even joined yet at that point, I was just a lurker and I still remember it.

Reminds me of,

Also, the whole six/ten debate on TDK forums when that came out.

Cop: You killed six of my friends.

The Joker: Six?

Morons on SHH: JOKER SAID TEN!!!!1!

#neverforget
