If they had released Part 2 in 2018 a short marketing campaign probably would have been fine. But it might be a mistake to drag ass and then **** out some abbreviated marketing campaign. There are plenty of people that havent read the book that dont know the story isnt over. The first film had a full resolution and more than a few viewers have probably moved on or dont know it's getting a sequel. And it's been two years since the first film.

To be fair this films box office doesnt really matter. There was only ever going to be 2 films at most, and the first film's box office paid for both film's budgets, and made them a fantastic profit. Everything after the first film's box office is just extra icing on the cake.

Dont expect that because Trailers where never released at CinemCon before , but that means a trailer for both is ready or get edited so not long til we actual get trailers

Yeah we didn't get trailers for the likes of Halloween or Glass last year, but we did get descriptions of the footage that gets shown.

I think we got that first Halloween poster with the close-up of Michael from CinemaCon, though.

I don't think that Jessica Chastain is the right choice to play Sophia Lillis's character (Beverly). She looks nothing like Sophia Lillis.
