Stephen King's "IT" Part I and Part II

It’s either that or Uncle Stevie is going senile. :o

Footage From IT Part 2

A group of fans at CCXP in Brazil were lucky enough to see some new footage from the second IT movie and here is a report about what they saw.

"Thankfully, they did share a behind-the-scenes sizzle reel, which looked like the type of video a studio would share with promotional partners to get them excited about the sequel. In the video, we saw director Andy Muschietti talk about what he hopes to accomplish with the anticipated sequel, saying it will be serious, more intense, and have scarier moments. The video also showed some pre-production artwork, including the different departments working on the film.

"Another part of the video showed new cast members Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, and others talking about what the film is about. There wasn’t much footage from the film, but we did see a shot of the cast together walking across a bridge.

"My favorite part, however, was some video from the very first table read. While we didn’t get to see the cast reading any lines, the video showed this massive table with every cast member listed getting ready to read the script."

I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting pretty pumped about all the 2019 Preview content we've got coming to us over the next few weeks. Of course, a trailer would be preferable, but at the very least, I'm sure we're getting some stills and a few sound bites from the cast.

Once again NECA has created versions of Pennywise that takes your breath away.

The first one is called Ultimate Well House Pennywise (Release Date: Q1 2019).

From the acclaimed 2017 horror film IT, drawn from the pages of Stephen King’s original novel, NECA presents Pennywise the Dancing Clown!

Based on Bill Skarsgård’s portrayal of the nightmare-inducing clown, this 7” scale figure has been painstakingly detailed to be as accurate to Pennywise’s ornate costume as possible. To recreate even more of the most terrifying scenes from the movie, this version features 4 all-new head sculpts, a fencepost that can be inserted into one of the heads, a new monster right hand, new grabbing hands, and an additional new left hand.

This edition comes in collector-friendly deluxe window box packaging with opening flap.

The second is called Dancing Clown Pennywise (Release Date: Q2 2019).

I think the thing I’m most excited to see might be Bill Hader as Richie Tozier

Had a dream last night that WB would drop a teaser on New Year's Day, but then I woke up. :csad:

Only talks about the movie for about a minute toward the end, but that feels like more content than we've gotten in forever.

Slightly off topic, but Hader's Lorne Michaels impression from that same interview had me crying with laughter. Besides Pennywise, his adult Richie is what I'm most looking forward to from IT 2.

Two King movies from WB this fall. I can't even deal.

Let us know how it is if you do go.

Isn't that the guy who leaked those JL spoilers quite a while back?

I'd say he's trustworthy.

I see there are some complete morons on twitter, about to get in a lot of trouble.

Sounds interesting, but no way is that 3 hour running time going to stick. I can see it being 2 and a half hours though, especially if its good and the studio is confident enough in it after how successful Part 1 was.

Whilst I personally loved the first movie I hope the scares are more psychological based and the jumpscares kept to a minimum. I also hope they got a bigger budget and the effects are better and that Bill gets more to do. Looking forward.

I hope we get the first trailer in March, like the first film.

I could see how people would prefer the first one. The Losers Club as kids was always more interesting than the 1985 part of the story.

Everyone always says the kid part of the book is better. For me, I always found the adult portions much more engaging.
