Both the Facebook video and the Youtube video appear to have been deleted. :(

Question for everyone here who read the book; which of the Losers did you like best? My favorite was Richie.

Another one for Team Ben, I've always found him the most relatable character. I've always had a soft spot for Bev too. I just remember the scene in the book where that random kid with a lisp gets all pissed off because Bev is winning some kind of game and calls her mother a ****e and she bursts into tears and says that her mother is a waitress, not a ****e and they all crack up. I love that scene. :woot:

It's already been uploaded everywhere else. Reaction videos as well.

Any reaction mashups yet? I mostly watch those now instead of individual people

I want to get that Pennywise laugh for my ringtone!!! Awesome sneak peek!

This looks awesome! I personally think they aren't showing us Bill's stuttering in the clips / trailer because it would break up pacing. It's already been confirmed he'll have one, anyways.

I'm liking that cast. For some reason, I can see Joel Kinnaman as adult Bill. Hell, maybe even Chris Pratt as adult Ben since he used to be fat too. :o

Joel Kinnaman would be an interesting choice for Bill. I'd like to see Corey Stoll as Bill though. Here is my ideal cast for the adult version of the characters:

Bill - Corey Stoll
Bev - Kelly Reilly (only if Jessica Chastain turns the part down)
Richie - Bill Hader
Ben - Scott Speedman
Eddie - Colin Hanks
Mike - Marcus Henderson
Stan - Johnny Galecki

Perhaps they're just not giving us particularly stutter-heavy scenes for Bill, but I wonder if maybe they're using a certain dialogue track that's just the actor reading the lines straight so folks watching on their computers/phones don't think the vid is f***ing up on them, or even just to save time.

I won't be mad if they cut the stutter.

I'd say this confirms he has one - not to mention you can slightly hear a stutter in the first trailer.

The kids were fine.

Think about this: If you're a fan of King's work, or read a book or two, then you know that the one thing that his fans agree upon:

King tends to be awful at dialogue. When spoken out loud, it reads as awkward and gee-golly.

Yes, is writing is rich, his world building and imagination is wonderful..but when his character speak (ot including their thoughts or actions in the prose) it's very much unnatural, and stilted at 'Leave it to Beaver' level.

The performances were fine, but the dialogue was clearly written by an adult writer, and that breaks the immersion a bit.

OMFG I thought this guy was playing Pennywise this whole damn time:

He was attached to the project when Cary Fukunaga was doing it. Now it's Bill Skarsgard.

As a guy who stuttered as a kid and still does on occasion, it's not a constant blatant thing. Sometimes it comes and goes or sometimes it can be hidden like you're just pretending to stammer like other people.

Me neither. That got tedious.

I'd also love it they could keep "beep beep Ritchie" under a dozen uses, instead of the seemingly hundreds of instances it got in the novel.

Can't frickin wait for this. Who is that doctor guy at :23

Watching some reaction mashups on youtube. Love these

Freaky! I am literally just watching some reactions myself. I always love these types of vids.
