I don't know what's scarier, Bill as Pennywise or himself.

He's Swedish, he's plenty creepy.

The georgie/pennywise scene is infinitely more creepy in theaters

Day 1 for sure

I love when he says "Bills gonna kill you....." because that's not untrue for poor Gerorgie

Clearly Alexander got the looks of the Skarsgård family.

Isn't it a good indicator on whether or not a lot of people like a movie? The Dark Tower was getting terrible reviews, yet people were still going to see the movie so they could judge it for themselves. And sure enough, those same people walk away disappointed. I don't think I've ever seen a movie where I thought the critics were wrong.

I'm not gonna get into a whole RT/critics thing here. There's a thread for it. I myself personally and I know others prefer to just see for ourselves and make up our own minds. While others prefer something like RT or critics to help them decide. I kinda disagree with it myself but to each their own, I have my own opinions on it. But this is the IT thread so I'm not gonna mention it again.

Back to IT, did this 4 minute clip play just before certain showings of Annabelle? I suppose so. Excuse a buddy of mine saw that film yesterday and didn't get the clip, just the trailer.

My showing of Annabelle had the first trailer playing in front of it instead of rhe 4 minute preview.:wall:

Jesus that footage was special...I'm actually genuinely shocked as to the quality of the production, and acting...usually because I am almost always disappointed when I get hyped.

This might just deliver on all fronts...wow.

I'm so ****ing proud that a Hispanic is representing with a dope ass horror movie in America dude. Muschietti's got the eye, man

Just saw it earlier; my sentiments exactly. Expectations are high for this one.

The problem with the Conjuring films, or Annabelle, is that there's no genuine threat. Nobody gets hurts. Nobody is in real danger. There's no sense of dread. It's spooky, creepy and unsettling, but not really anything else. It feels like it's got that real sense of danger. It has that real sense of dread. That's why I'm looking forward to it.
You obviously haven't seen these movies...

Saw Annabelle last night, multiple people died in that movie.

Plus, we know all of the main kids survive in this movie. They're not in real danger.

I've seen all of them dude. I will give props to Annabelle for having consequences, but The Conjuring films just scare the hell outta people, but everyone comes out ok.

Yeah Annabelle Creation is the first that really had any teeth. Its relentless and takes no prisoners.
