I don't know how the admin of the boards works in regards to this, how often it is done etc, but I was wondering if it might be an idea to have a 'Conan' section on the boards, as opposed to say, 'Wanted', which may not even have a sequel coming out, and has like 1 person viewing at the moment.

the current Conan thread has various discussions going on, about the books, comics, character motivation etc
and there is much more to discuss that could be covered in it's own section, the books, the Marvel comics, the Darkhorse comics, the 2 Arnie movies, spin offs like Red Sonja(old and new), other REH movies like Kull and Solomon Kane, and of course the new Conan movie which has just started filming.

anyway, just a thought if you were going to flush the boards of any old or unused sections at any point, or even just add any you thought might get a fair bit of traffic.

Something I've been wondering, but does the forum support the equivalent of format painter when doing the advanced editing of a post?

Basically, it would be nice to format a line of text, and then copy/paste just the formatting to other lines that need it (like you can do in Microsoft Word), rather than constantly having to reselect font/color/size each time.

Not sure if this was seen when all that old stuff came flooding back.

well technically, couldn't you just copy and paste the coding after the first time you use it? That's generally what i do

yeah, but a format painter would still be faster. Especially since I save formatting till the end.

No idea. Basically I imagine it something like the way Word does it. you highlight a line of text, click the format painter (double click to lock it), and then the next line of text you highlight automatically gets the same formatting applied to it.

well if you do it at the end, why not just highlight the entire thing and apply the formatting?

maybe i should leave this to the smart ones lol

Heh. It's because the formatting only applies to some lines. and there may be multiple formats. It would just be quicker then the current method of highlighting every line, then repicking all the proper format options each time.
