Yeah I know some people wanted Michael Wilkinson seeing as he was Costume Designer for MOS/BvS but he's working on David O' Russell's next movie Joy.

I was expecting different costume designer. And I don't think this really matters that much.

Most of these characters will probably wear either civilian clothes or some sort of advanced military gear anyway. Wilkinson is most irreplaceable when it comes to adapting skintight suits on screen. And costumes don't have to be aesthetically in line with Wilkinson's since none of the BvS's costumed characters is going to make an appearance in this film (most probably).

When Joker appears in Batman solo film, then it's important that Wilkinson designs his outfit, though I can easily see him collaborating with another designer in this, since he can't possibly manage to be only costume designer in all of those films.

Keep Wilkinson as main designer for JL films and try to get him as second designer in some of the other films from slate and it should be fine.

Leave Wilkinson for the Justice Leaguers... Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Cyborg needs him. He can't do everything no matter of how much we wanted.

Viola Davis confirms she's still in talks for Suicide Squad.

Davis told me she’s still working it out and has not begun reading comic books for research yet. “Not yet,” Davis said. “I have not started reading them yet. I’ve read up about her but I’m working out my schedule for Suicide Squad.” However, she clearly loves the character and said she can’t wait to delve in. “I’m fascinated by her. I’m fascinated by her in this world of superhero-ness because she is not a woman that you would expect. I think that she is a massive contradiction.

She’s this big powerful black woman, hard, ready to pick up a gun and shoot anyone at will. I’m fascinated in exploring her psychology, just put it that way. And I’m excited to pick up a gun.

Where did she say she's in talks? She said she's working out her schedule (that's one minor detail) but she said she can't wait to delve in. When you research for the character is when you are gonna play that character.

That's not true. Working out a schedule is how you get someone to accept it. It means she wants it and if she has the time and they can schedule it properly, she will take it. But only if it doesn't disrupt current commitments.

So I watched ASSAULT ON ARKHAM finally... I was pretty impressed. They pack alot, a COHESIVE lot, into an hour and fifteen minutes. It was a good capabilities presentation of what could be done with the SQUAD on screen. Minor quibbles aside, it was a tight little piece of work all around, especially the characterization. Action was good too. I am sure Ayers can take the bare bones concept of SUICIDE SQUAD and run with it.
