You know at first I thought that the "needing more time for the Revenant" was just an excuse because he changed his mind or had issues with the movie. But after hearing all the awful production stories surrounding the Revenant I'd like to believe that Tom Hardy really did want to Suicide Squad.

Probably worked out for the best in the long run. While he likely would have acted better than Joel there is no need to waste Hardy on a role like that.

He can probably play a better role now in the DCEU.

Haven't been following Star Wars lately. Plan to see the movie today. Was the SS trailer (Comic Con) attached?
