A lot of the dialogue in that supposed description is a bit iffy, admittedly. But the thought of the Joker laying on top of weapons to Bohemian Rhapsody does sound awesome.

^ I still don't get what is so hysterical about Smith saying that in the trailer honestly. Seems like a lot of people thought it was dumb/funny.

I think the way it was edited is what makes funny.

Watched the trailer again and I think thats just a line he said for the trailer. The patsies bit seemed like it was from a real scene. The Suicide Squad line sounded like it was made for the trailer. It may still be said, but I don't think thats the one they will use in the film.

Probably should add to the skepticism thread. But I do wonder about dialogue and if everything just seems too on the nose.

Ayer did write the script in a short time from what I remember. Don't know if he had a chance to really polish it up.

Either way just saying to me don't think it's a bad line or dumb/funny.

The amount of nickpicking DC is getting from people it's incredibly ******ed.

Yeah agreed but it will never stop. When it comes to anything not even just DC. Go into any of these forums and there's some legit good constructive criticism and what not. But a majority is just fanboy nitpicking and ****.

I've been craving new Suicide Squad footage lately. I can't wait for this new coming trailer and hope the rumored description rings true.

The "on the nose" dialogue is fitting with this group in my opinion. Some of it is "meh" but it's probably meant to bring about some laughs anyways. I don't really mind how elementary it comes across, if what I've read of the rumored description of this coming trailer is true of course.

Strange how they didn't simply premiere this with Star Wars. Only a 4 week difference, but you would've reached a far wider audience.
