I'm sure they used some cgi to improve mobility and integration of the makeup and prosthetics. It's rare these days that heavy makeup and prosthetics in films arent touched up with some cgi.

Keep in mind that the best cgi is the cgi you can't see, and it's used all over the place in films and most of the time things you think are 100% cgi free are not cgi free.

That reminds of that youtube video about modern CGI in films that Freddie Wong made some months back, surprised how much unoticable CGI there is in films.

I remember when the first pic was released and a lot of the comments concerning Croc said that he should be bigger and look like the Arkham version, then when King Shark appeared on The Flash, people said that is how they wish movie Croc looked. I wonder how many are eating their words.

Still kind of hoping King Shark has a cameo.

Doomsday has amazing details on him. If I, who hates CGI, can see and appreciate it, that means they've done a good job.

There is no measurable distance in the known universe that compares to the distance I want between Snyder and this film.

The worst CGI in BvS was how superman looked after he got nuked.

The CG in that moment looked fine to me.

You can never get a truly realistic looking monster unless you're prepared to spend a lot on physical 10-15 foot specimen that could do the stuffs that Doomsday did in BvS.

Ayer's SS is smaller in scope and scale, so there is a less need for CGI stuffs. This was also why Killer Croc is not CGI -- too much work, money and time.

How is this film going to fit into the DC Universe?

My guess is that whatever was in the "Communion" deleted scene of BvS ([BLACKOUT]SteppenWolf or another agent)[/BLACKOUT] is what Amanda Waller is after [BLACKOUT]in the absence of Superman[/BLACKOUT]. While Batman [BLACKOUT]forms the Justice League, Waller uses the suicide squad[/BLACKOUT] first.

All CG were totally fine. Supes looked great after the nuke blast.

The only thing that could be better is make up and prosthetics and make it look like an horror film. lol
