@Beatnation, fortunately no, Emilia is not in Suicide Squad. She and Alexander Skarsgard were at Cinemacon for Warner Bros. So was the Suicide Squad cast. It's the Warner Bros company plane so everyone involved with Warner Bros films arrived and departed on said plane. She just happened to be on the same plane.

Joel Kinnaman posted this to his Instagram yesterday. I like how he mentioned Alex but did not mention Emilia...lol. Of course he and Alex are actual friends and I think Emilia was just trying to be a part of the crowd.

Also, I'm not one for shipping but after watching the newest trailer, I absolutely ship Jai and Karen :)

Who is the girl on right next to Alex?

I always see her with Margot or Jai.

@DeadStroke, the girl next to Alex is Sophia Kerr, Margot's assistant. The woman sitting on Jai's lap is Bonnie Zipurski who is Joel's assistant, I believe. I know that Bonnie and Sophie hang out too.

Man Leto gets really into method acting, Don't know if already posted

E! News: Now, how about the gifts you gave everyone? Rats. Bullets. A hog. Where did that come from?
Jared Leto: Don't forget the anal beads...
E! News: Who did you send anal beads to?
Jared Leto (remembering): ...the used condoms...
E! News: You did not.
Jared Leto: Um, yeah. It was...
E! News: You can't just say 'used condoms' and we're just gonna, like, forget that--
Jared Leto: No, I know it's a family show--
E! News: Well, don't worry about--
Jared Leto: -- but we can educate the people here. At least they were used. Look, I did a lot of things to create a dynamic, to create an element of surprise, spontaneity...
E! News: That's surprise (sic)!
Jared Leto: ...and to break down any walls that might be there. I mean, the Joker is somebody who doesn't really respect things like personal space or boundaries.

wait, she is not an actress? she's too fine to be assistant.

But in the wake of Batman v Superman’s somewhat disappointing reception, rumors surfaced that Warner Bros. was sending Suicide Squad back for reshoots in order to up the levity of the film. Writer/director David Ayer took to Twitter last week to assert that the reshoots weren’t to make the movie more “fun” but were instead a vote of confidence from the studio, so when Collider’s own Steve Weintraub got the chance to speak with Ayer yesterday during the Warner Bros. presentation at CinemaCon, he asked the filmmaker about the reshoots and whether it was simply a case of the studio asking Ayer what else he wanted for the film, with Ayer responding that he’d like another set piece:

“That’s kind of it. If they don’t like your movie they tend to not want to invest in it. If they love your movie, they give you what you want. And I don’t think there’s any director that finishes a movie and says, ‘Wow that’s perfect, that’s what I really want it to be.’ Every movie I’ve ever made I wish I could go and grab some additional stuff and that’s exactly the chance I got this time. It’s like getting a new car but you get fancy rims and a new stereo.”

“It’s gonna be an interesting soundtrack, let’s just say that. We have some really cool original things coming in but also some familiar things too, and a great score.”
“Well the film has to work on two levels, it’s gotta work for the people that know and love the comics and it’s gotta work for the people that know nothing about the comics, and I think it’s gonna work for both. I dug deep in this and really researched the canon, pulled storylines from a lot of different sources, characters from a lot of different sources, and it all works together really well. But I think for someone that doesn’t know any of it, it works great too. It’s dense, let’s just say it’s really dense. There’s a lot of imagery, there’s a lot of nods, and there’s a lot of Easter Eggs.”
Finally, we know that Ben Affleck’s Batman features in the film in some capacity, so Steve asked Ayer what it was like to work with the Caped Crusader:

“I mean look, as a kid I was a fan of DC Comics. I read them, I love Batman. Batman was always my favorite superhero, and then to have him walk on my set one day was an incredible experience. Even my cynical, hard-bitten movie crew got quiet when that happened. And Ben’s a great dude, he’s a good guy to work with.”

BvS was too dense for a lot of people....

Lets hope with this film it's conveyed in a way that isn't distracting for a lot of people. BvS wasn't for me. But I know it was for others.

Ayer seemed intent on making a film where fans of the comics and non fans could get and understand. So hopefully that happens.

Can't wait to hear the score for this. Hopefully Joker and Harley have special themes.

Good. I want my movies dense.

Fair enough. Let's hope it's more appealing to masses.

Let's hope it's less divisive indeed.

That's very specific :funny:

I've rarely walked out of a movie thinking "yes, that movie was just dense enough!"

By the way, Harley's theme writes itself. Come on. Circus-themed music.

Yea. Just don't want to deal with that crap about another DC movie.

It would be nice for us to all to enjoy a DC movie.

Steven Price did the soundtrack. He did the one for Fury as well.

If the Joker theme is anything like this we're in for a treat.

I would LOVE something like this for both Joker and Harley.

Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney were supposed to be couple in real life.

Same. But by dense I mean "a lot to digest". Full of little details, that you discover with each new viewing. Blink and you will miss moments are fun too.

Not sure about that, but I want strong and memorable melodies in the soundtrack. Not interested in uneven ambience. But let's see how it goes.

If it has the DC logo on it, some people will never allow others to enjoy it unopposed.

Yeah, they weren't. It was just for PR since they were in a movie together to generate buzz for the film. Jai is dating a woman who works with Paramount pictures and has been for a while. Like I said, the only reason Emilia was on that plane was because she was there to promote a Warner Bros movie.

I think she tried Instagram stalking him though, not sure if she's still following him or not.

So, there were magazines with sticky pages too.

I'm kind if with you when it comes to film "density." My favorite POTC movie is the third, and I had no problems with the concepts behind the set-ups on ASM2, A2:AoU, or BvS. I will say, in contrast though, that each film had moments that I wish had been expanded on more instead of just teased, and I can understand how frustrating it can be for people to find theme selves drowning in plot points if they can't follow along or think it's distracting.

It's just that my immediate reaction is to tell them to stop whining and keep up.

Hopefully, Suicide Squad has a more focused kind of world building, kind of like how CA:TWS explained an awful lot of the more illogical moves by authority figures in the MCU.

OutOfBoose don't combust :o

“I wasn’t really looking for this one. David Ayer called and this was one of those gifts that fell out of the sky. He came and he didn’t even have the screenplay, he pitched it [and] left me with the source material. He said, ‘I wanna make a serious, badass version of all of these characters. It’s not the cute, pretty, silly version of this, I wanna do the down and dirty, rough, rugged, and raw.’ So that in the DC world, that flavor, I was inspired by that.”

“What’s really special about David and special about Suicide Squad is yes we’re in a hyper-reality, but David Ayer is a full-on 100% actor’s director. So he takes characters and he creates this world, but he only cares about what’s real and authentic between the characters. Looking at Harley and the relationship with The Joker, it’s not a comic book relationship; he’s getting the real depth of the psychology of the relationship and creating these insane interactions. For me with Deadshot, just really getting into how somebody could kill somebody and then go Christmas shopping with their daughter, having to get into that mindset in this spectacular hyper-real world. I think people are gonna be surprised at the look and the feel of Suicide Squad

“It was pretty unusual. Let’s just say this film was perfectly cast. The Suicide Squad and the flavor of these characters blends well with the flavors of the people. So our set took on a dare I say bizarre tonal quality.”

Sounds like Ayer had decided on Will pretty early on in the process.

That's good, cause Will can do great as a sniper vigilante who wants to play outlaw.
