I won't. I just want to have Ayer's babies. Don't know how, but right now I feel it's possible. This is so my ****ing alley, I can't contain myself. The more I read about his ideas and what he wanted to do, the harder it is for me to wait for this film.

Yeah, they weren't. It was just for PR since they were in a movie together to generate buzz for the film. Jai is dating a woman who works with Paramount pictures and has been for a while. Like I said, the only reason Emilia was on that plane was because she was there to promote a Warner Bros movie.

I think she tried Instagram stalking him though, not sure if she's still following him or not.
Ah o.k. I only read about it once and thought that it was legit. But yes, Clarke has some connection with WB as in this case promoting a film.

Based on these interviews Ayer has a coherent understanding of the mythos. What I take from it is not that these characters are restrained into conventional human understanding of reality (Superman is too powerful so he must be evil) but rather even the villains are human on the basis of their relationship with one another (is Harley's love for the Joker what makes her crazy?) and the person that tethers them from becoming something far sinister. I think everyone in the Suicide Squad has someone that tethers them, in essence making them relatable and human, this is a perfect contrast to the Joker who has nothing to lose.

Fair observation, but it's not exclusive to Suicide Squad. The same thing is quite strong with BvS. Also, I wouldn't simplify conflicts of DCEU too much (Superman is too powerful so he must be evil).

Quite true. But it isn't something that we haven't seen before in the case of Bruce's relationship with his parents and in other ways I think BvS underdeveloped relationships and concepts such as preemptive attacks in favor of showing some great visual spectacle.

I think Ayer knows the best of both worlds, he seems to have envisioned captivating characters who are driven by an established and nearly globally understood concept. General audiences tend to misunderstand shades of gray when it comes to superheroes and I can definitely sympathize with that since our world is already very dark and we often wish superheroes were real in order to make everything better. They expect a Superman that represents the ideal nature of humanity and a batman that will never abandon his one rule so with Suicide Squad you have more leeway for the often grim nature of these characters.

Going back to BvS from the onset I was very weary of the title for the movie. It left little room for mistake since a lot of people would ask themselves why would Batman be fighting Superman in the first place. This is why I'm very excited and have no doubt that Suicide Squad will live up to expectations.

It seems like the main villain is actually
the Joker. The question is how he manipulates Enchantress into causing destruction with a specific goal in mind. Maybe he will have the same disposition as Heath Ledger's Joker in TDK where he convinces Dent to go out and murder because he should embrace anarchy. So I'm guessing that Leto's Joker will give Enchantress 'a little push' just for the sake of her causing chaos. But the more I think about it this Joker seems to be above chaos in the sense that he is very eccentric and obviously has money based on the clothes he wears and the arsenal he has. It is not only just bullets, gasoline and explosives. So maybe it will be some sort of turf war.

Enchantress isn't really the type that needs a push.

I wonder if this takes place in or near Gotham, hence Batman's presence....?

It's in Midway City. Doesn't have to take place in Gotham. The Joker is there, which means Batman isn't far behind.

The purple lambo chase probably takes place in Gotham.

I hate movie stars having fun.

It's not fair that they're that attractive

Why didn't she name the rat Pinky?

Ok, tell Will Smith to be quiet. He's going to spoil this movie before August hits, lol.

"The ending of the movie is - spoiler free - the ending of the movie is a really unique way to have everybody collide," Smith explained. "I'd never been in a scene like this with as many different elements as take place in the final sequence. It's very cool."

Kinda OT

Grace Randolph and Andy Sigmore got into it on twitter.

To those today who told me I was "delusional" re critics agenda against #BatmanvSuperman, take a look:

@GraceRandolph @faith2nyc what agenda? BvS was a sloppy rush job that audiences are fastly losing interest in as well. CW was well earned.

Andy Signore ‏@andysignore 50m50 minutes ago
@GraceRandolph @faith2nyc the fight in CivilWar trumps BvS by like a million... Actual emotional stakes & character build up prove important

Grace Randolph ‏@GraceRandolph 47m47 minutes ago
@hermandhaliwal @andysignore ok so next time a movie wins Best Picture they should laugh in the face of the other nominees?

Andy Signore ‏@andysignore 44m44 minutes ago
@GraceRandolph @hermandhaliwal as a critic, why take our criticism so sensitively? BvS had MAJOR story problems. History will prove this.

Grace Randolph ‏@GraceRandolph 43m43 minutes ago
@andysignore @hermandhaliwal I feel the opposite - history will prove the hater agenda, and that this movie was never given a chance

Andy Signore ‏@andysignore 39m39 minutes ago
@GraceRandolph @hermandhaliwal Not a chance WB has no clue what they're doing. They need a Kevin Feige of their own. A true fan to build DCU

Grace Randolph ‏@GraceRandolph 37m37 minutes ago
Andy, @andysignore u will NEVER get me to turn on BvS, which I understand is flawed but deeply respect & admire - and many stand with me
