It's simple: A studio who believes in their characters and stays true to what it is. Not try to make it into something it's not. That's not too much to ask. They got David Ayer who isn't Snyder which is a positive, but I'm afraid now since BVS of all things was so corporate, God knows what WB is doing with the solos. And given the marketing and their recent decisions yes, it's worrying. It's crystal clear where it's flabbergasting: This studio has no clue about HOW to make this work. These aren't unfounded. They're legitimate concerns from a studio that has a horrible track record. I just can't believe especially after BVS, people still aren't at least questioning these things.

Obviously some skepticism is good, especially after BvS, but what about SS specifically worries you? We know that this movie is pretty much in line with Ayer's past work and personality. He came up with the script, they fast-tracked production and here we are. We also knew from the get-go that this movie would have a more playful tone. Speaking about the DCEU in general, I'm worried too. But this movie in particular doesn't seem to be going down the same road BvS did.

I've heard good and bad stories so I'm not gonna judge Leto on that, but even if he's a dick... how does that warrant an idiotic comment like that? I'm not gonna say Vito Corleone is a character tailor-made for *****ebags like just because Brando was a dick.

I just don't understand where you're coming from on any of this. The government and military are afraid of Superman, not only does that make sense, the fact that it's still evident here shows they DO have a plan and they ARE sticking to it.

Also, why do you feel this looks "less good" than GOTG?

I think most likely only being in one scene means there keeping his role quiet and strengthens the chance of him being somebody they wouldn't spoil something like that in a trailer. Then again what do I know he could just be a nobody we hardly care about.
