Me too, but you could really get into some interesting areas with their beliefs and such which is kind of ignored with MCU HYDRA.

The belief in the Kali Yuga, the way they attract followers ect. could be ways to draw distinction. Plus... I would love to see BatFleck take on Kobra himself in some future film, say a LOD focused JL movie. He's one of the few guys that can stand toe to toe with the Dark Knight in hand to hand combat. I really liked the idea in IDENTITY CRISIS where in the DCU in prison while some turn to The Nation of Islam, or become Born Again, ect. that lots of people start joining the Kult as an alternative.

If they want to use Kobra, they can make it WAY different to HYDRA.. Also it's different, they can make it a cult/political with religious snippets while Hydra is more like a organization with old fashioned/conservative ideas. At least IMO.

I didn't understand that. I read to gain weight, but there are many uses... to up his weight but for later in the gym ripping his body in a thin way with a lot of cardio and not necessarily bulking his body.. We'll see...

However Leto's body shape is not bulky so we won't see a too much bulky Joker.

The Cult angle would let them tackle some interesting issues of true belief. And the Squad is not really a unified "team" as it were. Them taking on a group of "true believers", you could easily see them at a disadvantage since it's easy to imagine them incapable of ordering lunch as a group.

And your'e right, the lack of group cohesion should be a huge part of this film's chemistry. I mean, Marvel characters "don't get along" but Marvel characters aren't the Suicide Squad; we should see members only a hair's breadth from killing each other, with at least one guy being picked on and mocked the entire time (I nominate Captain Boomerang.) And heck, if you do this right, you can make it seem like a dark humored parody of the traditional formula.
