UNCONFIRMED TWITTER RUMOR: Pending more concrete sourcing, I hear Gary Sinise supposedly in talks to join SUICIDE SQUAD as GENERAL EILING.

When I got tipped off to Gary Sinise, like many of you I thought DEATHSTROKE. But no. GENERAL EILING is what is circulating in breakdown.

Gary Sinese was the narrator for Captain America's exhibit at the Smithsonian in the Winter Soldier. He can't be in this because of Marvel's clause.

According to Cinemablend, Joel Edgerton and Jon Bernthal are being considered for Rick Flagg, Gary Sinise is in talks for an unspecified role and Joe Manganiello is being considered for Deathstroke.

make way more sense. Obviously it's Sr. In this rumor, which would allow the rumor to be true without changing Jr.'s character. In other words,

Sr. Will be bad, Jr. Will be good, allowing us to have both the cool twist and still have Flag Jr. Later. I see Jr. Working for Sr., who is in charge of the SS for the first film. Then, the turn would happen, Sr. Would die (maybe at Jr.'s hands) and Jr. Would take over. Then we'd have good Flag for the rest of the SS films.
